Very dependable, nice truck. Fuel injected 305 Automatic, SWB, metalic gun metal gray, gray row pleated seats & door panels. Dual exhaust with twin straights, rebuilt alternator, new windshield & dash pad, battery replaced about 1 1/2 years ago. Rhino liner in bed of the truck but it's a thin coat and has a couple of small chips out of it and light rust on those spots . The body is solid and straight, no rust except for what I just described. This truck has been well maintained, driven responsibly and in our family between 12-14 yrs. We are in need of more passenger space and not having a garage to keep it in don't wish to see it suffer from being exposed to the weather all the time. It's fun to drive and is always drawing attention. It's our understanding we are the second owners of the truck. Title is in my hand and clear. On Mar-03-14 at 18:40:18 PST, seller added the following information: The miles listed aren't the correct miles, the 305 motor that was put in was a rebuilt motor, and I have no idea how many miles the truck actually has. On Mar-05-14 at 11:51:03 PST, seller added the following information: The headliner is sagging a little bit, you can see it in the picture that shows the seat (I thought I put this in the original post, sorry, I just never think of it because until you look up you don't notice it) and yes the title shows 350 but my ex had made the decision to replace it with a rebuilt 305. |

GM cutting production at two plants
Thu, Feb 26 2015General Motors is continuing to adjust to excess supply of some of its brands' models. To get production more in line with the vehicles' actual demand, the automotive giant is idling two of its factories in North America in the coming months. The Orion Assembly plant is going to be down from March 9-13, according to an anonymous plant worker and another insider speaking to Automotive News. The factory builds the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, but there are plenty of both models sitting on dealer lots, including 216 days worth of Sonics, according to AN. The factory already had two idle periods announced to reduce the excess. In addition, downtime is scheduled at GM's "Flex" line at the Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, plant from April 13-17. This affects supply of the Chevrolet Camaro, Impala, Buick Regal and Cadillac XTS. Among them, the automotive giant has the largest supply of Regals ready for dealers with 213 days worth of them, according to AN. The future for the whole Oshawa factory is cloudy in general, though. There are rumors that it could close entirely in the future because the Camaro is leaving and the Regal and XTS might not last much longer than 2017. The Canadian government and the labor union there intend to put up a fight, though. GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.
