2003 Chevrolet S10....no Reserve Auction!!!.. Ls Extended Cab Pickup 3-door 4.3l on 2040-cars
Salem, New Hampshire, United States
We a proud to offer this 2003 Chevy s10 LS Model.......3 Door 4X4 Extended Cab Pickup with only 94k Orig Miles.
This is a 2003 CHEVROLET S10 LS 4X4 ExtendedCab. This truck is owned by our 87yo neighbor who can no longer drive. It is currently registered and insured. We are helping him to sell it. If you cannot pick it up within the seven day period ...we will be glad to store it inside our building until you are able to arrange shipping or pick up in person. We also would be happy to pick you up at our local Manchester/Boston Regional Airport any day of the week you prefer at NO CHARGE. We want to disclose any imperfections as honestly as we can. There is a dent on the rear top part of the bed and there were some holes thru the right rear bed about 1/2 inch....holding something in place by the previous owner. Also someone sprayed flat black paint on the lower part of the body all the way around the truck. The frame and undercarriage are in excellent condition. For some reason the Chevy s10 Pickups seem to be made from a much higher quality steel than all the other trucks built during that time. Honestly if this was a Ford or Toyota we would not be selling it. Even if it was a full size Chevy. Other than some very minor cosmetic issues this truck has been very well maintained. The truck runs perfect with no known defects. It has a clean Autocheck report with no accidents or other issues. This is a get in and drive away S10 needing no known repairs. It only has 94,184 miles. We encourage test drives in person. Driving impression is outstanding....the steering is tight with no wander. The 4x4 works as it should. The transmission shifts perfectly and the motor is quiet and responsive. The air conditioning is ice cold. The heater works great too. There are NO LEAKS of any kind. There are no Check engine codes present. We will be getting a new inspection sticker this week. Check our feedback and bid with confidence....We are offering this truck with NO RESERVE.........Be the highest bidder and win. We will answer any and all questions you may have. Thanks for looking and Good Luck Bidding. We do have it advertised locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. . |

Question of the Day: What's the most irritating car name?
Wed, Mar 9 2016You hear a lot about how the Chevrolet Nova was a sales flop in Mexico because "No va" means "it doesn't go" in Spanish; in fact, the Nova sold pretty well south of the border, and in any case most Spanish-speakers know that "Nova" means "new" in Latin and Portuguese. However, General Motors doesn't deserve to be let off the hook for bad car names, because the Oldsmobile Achieva— no doubt inspired by the excruciating "coffee achievers" ads of the 1980s— scrapes the biggest fingernails down the screechiest chalkboard in the US-market car-name world. That is, unless you think Daihatsu's incomprehensible choice of Charade was worse. Meanwhile, Japanese car buyers could get machines with cool names like Mazda Bongo Friendee or Honda Life Dunk. It's just not fair! So, what car name drives you the craziest? Related Video: Auto News Design/Style Chevrolet Honda Mazda Daihatsu Automotive History questions car names
Mysterious white powder discovered at GM Orion Assembly
Fri, Sep 2 2016Workers at General Motors Orion Assembly Plant in Orion Township, MI uncovered a mysterious white powder in two different parts of the factory earlier this week, raising concerns about worker safety. "We can confirm that an unknown substance (white powder) was found on the floor outside of Gate 6 at Orion Assembly on Monday, August 29. On Tuesday, August 30, we had a second report of a bottle containing a similar substance found inside the plant," GM spokesperson Dayna Hart told The Oakland Press via email. GM stressed that incident didn't disrupt operations at the plant, and that the company was taking steps to ensure the safety of the sprawling factory's workers. That did include, an anonymous worker told The Oakland Press, closing off parts of the factory for two full days, as drug-sniffing dogs and crews in haz-mat suits descended on the area. "A sample of the substance has been sent to a laboratory for identification and results are expected later this week," Hart said. "All findings and actions have been shared with our employees." Orion Assembly currently builds the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, and will eventually be responsible for production of the new, all-electric Chevy Bolt early next year. Related Video:
Why 2015 is going to be a huge year for trucks
Thu, Jan 22 2015Nissan chief executive Carlos Ghosn took center stage to introduce the 2016 Titan last week at the Detroit Auto Show. He spoke of the truck's new features, impressive Cummins V8 diesel engine and the extensive amount of time and money required to build a modern, competitive pickup truck. "We have done all of this because we see opportunity – an opportunity in the unmet needs of today's American truck customers," Ghosn said. He was speaking about the Titan, but his thoughts echo the industry's mindset: When it comes to trucks, find an opportunity and attack. Even with CAFE regulations looming and fickle consumer preferences, investing in trucks is a no-brainer for automakers. Some consumers will always need a truck for their job or lifestyle. And some people will always want one, whether they need it or not. With that in mind, here are four reasons why the pickup-truck sector is more important than ever and poised for growth in 2015. View 24 Photos The Nissan Titan Is Back Okay, it never left, but the Titan hadn't been redesigned since its launch in 2003, and Nissan sold more NV200s than Titans in 2014. It's an understatement to say the truck was languishing. That all changes with the 2016 model. The Titan will come in two variants, a traditional fullsize competitor and the Titan XD. The XD will lead the market launch, and it arrives late this year. It's pitched as a "whitespace" offering, Nissan sales and marketing vice president Fred Diaz said. The idea is to offer something in the general size and price range of a fullsize truck, but also have some of the capability of a heavy-duty truck. The XD uses a fully boxed ladder frame, the chassis design from Nissan's commercial division, and the wheelbase is about 20 inches longer than other Titan models. The XD, which Nissan is calling the flagship of the line, will be the only model with the 5.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel V8. It produces 310 horsepower and 555 pound-feet of torque, while being able to tow 12,000 pounds. V6 and V8 gasoline models will also be offered on the Titan XD and the standard, non-XD model. When production ramps up, the Titan will be sold with several cabs, beds and trims. New features include trailer sway control, an integrated trailer brake controller, more storage options in the cabin and even laminated front and rear side glass to reduce outside noise. All of this has given Nissan fresh confidence in an area where it admittedly has been lacking. "We can compete," Diaz told Autoblog.
