Up for sale is my Very rare 1976 Chevy Luv shortbed truck. It is factory neon green and has never been painted. This truck has been an Arizona truck it's whole life and still is. The body is 100% rust free and in very good condition. There are a few dents in the tail gate, hood, bumper. The rest of the body is really straight and in great shape. The bed is solid and the underside is as nice as the top. It has late model chevy 17" chrome wheels with custom baby moon caps with nearly new low profile speed rated directional tires. The front has been lowered just by adjusting the torsion bars. the rear was lowered with lowering blocks and air shocks. It sits really nice. The drivetrain is the original 1.8 liter 4 cylinder isuzu engine with a turbo 350 auto tranny. The engine has recently (less than 2000) miles ago had the head redone and decked as well as a new intake and carb, distributor. It runs very strong and stays cool in the 100 degree plus weather. The cooling system is super clean and flows great. The interior is in nice condition. I just installed new bucket seats and a floor mat with insulation. The door panels are custom made with rockford fosgate componants in custom door pods. There is a great stereo in it it's a pioneer in dash tv. The dash pad was removed prior to my owning it but I have made it look as best as it can. It does look really good. All of the electronics work great, all lights, signals, gauges, wipers ect. There is an awesome alarm system with keyless entry. This truck is currently my daily driver and has no problem keeping up at 60+ mph on the highway while still getting awesome gas mileage. I am only selling due to having several other projects. You can call 928-566-3222 with any questions. I have a clean Arizona title in hand for the truck.
I require a $500 deposit at the end of auction and full payment upon delivery of Truck.

Chevrolet Malibu gets across-the-board price cuts, hopes to dig out of slump
Mon, 11 Feb 2013To say that things aren't going well for the newly redesigned 2013 Chevrolet Malibu is a pretty sizable understatement. Reports have been swirling about the Malibu getting an emergency design refresh, less than a year after its introduction, as well as having its production at the Fairfax Assembly Plant halted twice already this year for excessive inventory. Now, Motor Trend is reporting that the midsize sedan will be receiving price drops across the board ranging from $300 on a number of models up to $770 on the 1LT trim; offsetting some of MSRP drop, though, the destination charge has increased from $760 to $810.
Without destination, the entry-level Malibu LS now starts at $21,995, which is still about $300 more than a Honda Accord and about $300 less than the segment's top-selling Toyota Camry. This new pricing also drops the price of the Eco, 2LT and 3LT trims by $300. The LTZ trim has dropped by $415, meaning that the Malibu's top dog now starts at just under $30,000, excluding destination.
Here are the new starting prices for all eight of the Malibu trim levels compared to the previous prices for the 2013 model year (including destination):
2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Convertible offers a few more views before reveal
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Over the weekend, Chevrolet released its first images of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Now, ahead of the droptop's official introduction tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show, the automaker has given us a few more shots of the softop C7 showing off the car's rump albeit from a high, strategically positioned angle.
From this angle, it's hard to get a sense for how long and flat the decklid really is, but we can easily see that, like the rest of the C7's design, the new convertible's decklid and tonneau cover are far more detailed than the current car. We also get a better look at the rear haunches sans brake vents, which have apparently been moved to underneath the car in order to accommodate the top's hard cover.
As for the overall styling of the C7 convertible, with the top erected, we get some idea of what a coupe design (as opposed to the Stingray's fastback shape) would look like on this car. The C5 Corvette most recently had a coupe model that did away with the large glass hatchback, and we recently reported on a low-cost "coupe" model potentially being added to the C7's repertoire.
Vert-A-Pac train cars kept your Chevy Vega's price in check
Fri, 01 Mar 2013Our apologies to those who've seen this before, but for the rest of the class, how awesome are these pictures of the Vert-A-Pac shipping system General Motors came up with to ship the Chevrolet Vega back in the 1970s? Developed along with Southern Pacific Railroad, GM was able to double the amount of Vega models it could ship by packing them into the unique storage cars vertically.
At the time, rail cars could fit 15 vehicles each, but Chevrolet was able to lower shipping costs by making it possible to ship 30 Vegas per rail car, in turn allowing the price of the Vega to remain as low as possible. Each rail car had 30 doors that would fold down so that a Vega could be strapped on, and then a forklift would come along and lift the door into place. All the cars were positioned nose down, and since they were shipped with all of their required fluids, certain aspects had to be designed specifically for this type of shipping, including an oil baffle in the engine, a special battery and even a repositioned windshield washer reservoir. See for yourself in our image gallery above.
