This truck is one of the most unique, eye catching trucks to ever hit the pavement. It has been completely custom built to be one of a kind. It has a strong Duramax LMM engine paired with an Allison transmission. It is fitted with an 8' Chevy truck bed and has a tow package. This truck tows very well. It has 47" military Michelin tires on custom built 20" steel wheels. The beauty of these tires are that they are military surplus and you can buy them new for $150 each! The truck runs extremely smooth down the highway and only turns about 1500 rpm's while running 80mph. Custom built 6" exhaust stacks run up each side. This truck is also fitted with a custom built 50 gallon fuel tank and an air dog fuel/air separator. I have been getting about 13 mpg driving this beast and can even get around 15 mpg on the freeway since the rpm's are so low. I tow my 12,000 lb trailer all the time and can't even feel it back there. The 4x4 works great and this truck handles very nice in all weather conditions. Turns sharper than a Honda accord! I prefer to drive this truck around town over my short bed F350 because it is so maneuverable. The interior is super nice and has seat belts for 6 although it seats 7 very comfortably. Clean title in hand and ready to ship out today. I will consider all trade ins. I have a couple of great sources for shipping and will help arrange shipping anywhere in the world. If you choose to fly in and pick it up we will gladly pick you up from the airport.

GM learning from current Chevy Volt owners as it works on next-gen model
Tue, Sep 16 2014Details of the second-generation Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in hybrid are coming in at a trickle, and the latest is that the 2016 model-year Volt will be improved in all meaningful areas, including performance and all-electric range, says General Motors powertrain director Larry Nitz. 60 percent of Volt customers only charge using a standard 110 outlet. Nitz was speaking to Autoline After Hours about the current and future Volt. He said that GM has been tracking Volt driving habits and found that about two-thirds of the Volts' collective miles are driven in electric mode, and that 81 percent of all Volt trips were done in pure EV mode. Additionally, Volt drivers plug the car in 10 times each week, on average. Nitz also said 82 percent of the Volt's commuting miles are coming from the plug instead of the gas tank. Oh, and 60 percent of Volt customers only charge using a standard 110 outlet. Last month, GM released a teaser shot of the 2016 Volt (above) and said the car would make its worldwide debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show next January. Earlier this year, the Volt was reported to be getting a new chassis for the upcoming version. The Volt could use a bit of new life. Through August, Volt sales were down 12 percent from a year earlier to 13,146 units, and sales plunged 25 percent alone. That compares unfavorably to the Nissan Leaf battery-electric vehicle, whose 2014 sales have jumped 34 percent to almost 19,000 units. You can see Nitz dish the goods in the video below (Volt comments start at around minute 15). You will also notice AutoblogGreen contributor Gary Witzenburg talk about his history with the EV1 and share his take on the Volt. This content is hosted by a third party. GM to trim Russian output, raise prices amid currency woes
Thu, Feb 5 2015General Motors is shutting down its factory in Russia's second largest city, St. Petersburg, from the middle of March until the middle of May as the country's currency, the ruble, continues to give economists fits. The ruble's value has plunged due not only to western sanctions, but a precipitous fall in oil prices. We knew these factors were already impacting the auto industry there, as Ford reported in its 2014 earnings statement, and now they're forcing GM to cut production at the factory, shown above, that is responsible for production of the Chevrolet Cruze and Opel Astra. Meanwhile, Automotive News is citing Russian outlet Kommersant as saying that GM has hiked its prices in the country by an average of 20 percent over the past two months. While a GM spokesman confirmed the St. Petersburg plant would be shut down for the two-month span reported by Kommersant and AN, he would not confirm the price increase.
