1967 Chevy C-10 3100 Short Box Step Side with wood floor option. This is a real beauty and a true must see. The exterior is cameo cream with a beautiful oak floor box stained with Adams antique color stain. The slats are painted body color. Wheels are custom by Cragar with BF Goodrich tires. Interior color is also cameo cream with white leather dash, steering wheel and seat. Column is a Flaming River chrome column. Dash bezels are mirror polished aluminum and the carpet is superior loop, black in color. Under the hood is a GM crate 350 stroked 383 and comes with a two-year warranty. The truck has an Edelbrock high-rise intake with a 650 Edelbrock 4-barrel carb, MSD distributor, blaster coil, rotor, and 8.5 wires, ceramic-coated Summit Racing headers, all mirror polished stainless exhaust with mirror polished 24 inch stainless glass pack mufflers. The pulleys have been upgraded with a March performance serpentine kit. Vintage Air has been installed with a chrome Saginaw A/C pump. It has a Turbo 350 automatic, with cooler and stainless braided lines. This truck was restored by a private restoration service in Atlanta, GA in 2012/13 and was three quarters finished when purchased with a clear title. I added the March performance pulley system, put new tires and rims on, new brakes, tinted the windows, new MSD distributor, blaster coil and wires, ceramic headers and mirror polished stainless exhaust, went through the transmission, turned up high performance modulator pump, installed and adjusted new after market linkage, went through and fine tuned carburetor, hooked up electric booster fan, changed and installed new high performance fan, changed transmission cooler, added stainless steel braided lines, went through wiring harnesses to ensure all lights worked, new hazard and dimmer switch, sanded and polished dash bezels, new Lokar steering wheel, touched up paint, touched up and detailed undercoating underneath. I am a perfectionist and went meticulously through the truck and detailed everything. I build hot rods for a living, so while this one wasn't done completely by me, it is now completed to my standards. This truck has been gone through front to back, inside and out and is a real head turner - a must see little Hot Rod. A detailed inspection report has been completed and financing is available. |

Mark Reuss: GM can't afford product 'misses,' has 'thought about' CT6 V-Series
Thu, Apr 9 2015Mark Reuss is a busy man. He oversees General Motors' global product portfolio, an all-encompassing task for a company that sold more than 9.9 million cars and trucks last year. When GM launches a well-received product, like the road-going rocket ship that is the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – he gets credit. When the company stumbles with the slow-selling Chevy Malibu or grapples with fallout from the decade-old Saturn Ion and its flawed ignition switch, he gets blamed. GM owners, the press and sometimes the federal government, demand answers. Bob Lutz famously held the job before Reuss. So did Mary Barra, who's now GM's chief executive. There's a New GM, but the lineage is connected to a long history. When he's not thinking product, Reuss, an executive vice president, also runs the purchasing and supply chain for the company, which is still one of the largest industrial empires in the world. We caught up with Reuss on the floor of the New York Auto Show, where GM had just rolled out two crucial new products: the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Speaking with a small group of reporters, Reuss delved into a variety of subjects, including the new Malibu, Cadillac's future (he thinks the ATS-V is going to "flame the M3 and M4"), and other topics. On fixing the Malibu: "We can't miss. We can't have those kinds of misses [like the previous generation] on our cars and crossovers and trucks. We can't do that. If we do that, we give a reason for someone to go buy something else. It's that simple. "On a car like the Malibu we have a chance to really fix all of that, which we have, and then lead. Then you've got a real opportunity there. So that's what we've really been focused on here – to fix those things." He later added: "We need that car here to transform Chevrolet desperately because it's the heart of the market. And when you think of Chevrolet, people will come back and think about what we did with the [new] Malibu and the Cruze... It's hugely important to us." On Cadillac: "If we go out and try and out-German the Germans, it's probably not going to work. We've got an opportunity here generationally where there's a lot of people younger than me that have parents that drove BMWs and Mercedes, and I think there's an opportunity there for those people to drive something different than what their parents did, and I think that's always been an opportunity in the auto industry if you look at the history of it.
Mustang retakes monthly pony car sales crown from Camaro
Wed, Dec 3 2014Going back to their origins in the Swinging '60s, the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro have been fierce rivals for fans' hearts and dollars. Historically, the Ford often led in volume, but Chevy took the muscle car top spot in 2009 upon the Camaro's rebirth. However, with the launch of the latest Blue Oval pony car, the tide is turning back in Ford's favor. November was the first full month of sales for the new 2015 Mustang, and according to TheDetroitBureau.com, the model did spectacularly well. The Blue Oval shifted 8,728 of them, up 62 percent from same month last year, with the automaker proclaiming it the model's best November sales since 2006. Conversely, 4,385 units of the Camaro were delivered, down 13.5 percent year-over-year, meaning its sales were roughly half that of the new-generation Mustang. Ford is understandably happy with the results, and product development director Raj Nair even hinted to TDB that another version of the Mustang might be unveiled at January's North American International Auto Show. Rumor has it that the model will be the even more potent Shelby Mustang GT350R. Despite the Mustang's November success, the Camaro outsells it year to day. So far in 2014, Ford has sold 73,124 Mustangs versus 79,669 examples of the Camaro. With December offering the last chance for an overtake, the Bowtie may yet remain king for this year's sales crown. A new Camaro is peeking over the horizon, as well. It's reportedly moving to the Alpha platform used by the Cadillac ATS, and production could start in late 2015. Prototypes are already testing at the Nurburgring, and camouflaged examples have been spotted weirdly being compared to its '80s forefather.
