This is a 1958 chevrolet pickup, it has two rare options the big rear window and a fleetside bed, it makes the truck standout and get noticed over the run of the mill fat fendered 55-59 chevy's. The truck has 1967 camaro front clip and rear end, The clip was installed right looks like it came factory on the truck. When i say clip i mean the truck has the front subframe from a 1967 camaro mated on the 58 original frame, so you get the better ride and steering of the camaro front clip over the factory leaf spring 58 front end, you can turn loose of the steering wheel at 60 mph and its just as smooth and straight as it can be.. The rear end has 4:11 gears. The truck has a 350 crate motor all stock with a edelbrock intake and carb, also has headers and flowmaster exhaust, it sounds great. The transmission is a fresh 4 speed, shifts great and goes in gear smooth. The motor sounds good has good oil pressure, has a aluminum gas tank with working gas gauge in the cab of the truck. The truck has a set of late model bucket seats, All the lights work, headlights, taillights, turn signals, brake lights, everything functions. The Body is pretty decent, it has rust in all the normal places, but that just gives it character. The body mounts and important areas are rust free. Its ready to drive, you can make a daily driver easy out of the truck, its very smooth going down the road. Its perfect for the guy who just wants a old truck to play with but can still drive and enjoy. The Truck has a clear ky title. I have a shipper that ships stuff for me all over the U.S, so if you live to far away to get the truck in person, call or text me and i will give you a shipping quote. This is how i sell most of my cars/trucks on ebay. I have the truck for sale locally also so if you want to buy it before the auction ends give me a call. If not bid to win, this is a no reserve auction. Non paying bidders will be reported. Call or text jordan (606)-305-2885

Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?

Watch NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon put one over on a used car dealer... sorta

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

Full Disclosure: in my younger days, I loved nothing more than tormenting passengers with my behind-the-wheel hijinks. Once, after a particularly artful handbrake turn on a two-lane at around 50 miles per hour, I left one backseat occupant crying in their own lap. This isn't necessarily something to be proud of, but it gives you a glimpse into why it is that I find this ad from Pepsi so damn disappointing. The premise is beautiful. Take NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon, give him a disguise and set him loose upon some unsuspecting used car dealer. Hilarity ensues.
Except that this Pepsi Max commercial is so obviously staged, it can't help but feel like some ham-fisted marketing fail. From the strategically placed aftermarket cupholder mounted mid-dash for the hidden camera to the fact that the supposed dealer Camaro is displayed as a 2009 model (Hint: Chevrolet didn't make any), this clip is about as organic as a Twinkie. Still, we would never turn down a chance to watch Gordon thrash on a rental-spec coupe - only problem is, he probably didn't even do the driving himself. Check it out below.

Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
