Awesome project ready for you to finish. Custom frame with 4 link suspension and 9" ford rear end . Valarie adjustable front end so you will run "Ford" wheels all the way around. Lots of extra parts . You get 3 cabs. 2 chevy small back window cabs and 1 GMC big back window cab. So you have choices about what your final product will be. switch out the dash or take the big window out and put it on the chevy cabs. What ever look you want. GMC has a vin number plate but no title , the chevy cabs both have titles. 1 from Calif. and 1 from Washington. 2 frames 1 being the custom built short bed frame and 1 being a long bed frame. You could almost build 2 trucks but not quite. The blue long bed that you will see in the pics does not go in the deal, you can have the fenders but not the bed. {saving for future project}. Cab full of parts. About the cabs : The GMC is in very good condition with just the bottom drivers door hinge pocket having rust and 1 small rust hole in floor otherwise very solid. Blue chevy cab has a little rust in the bottom rear cab corners not terrible but its there. The hinge pocket from this truck would be a good donor for the GMC. The blue doors are very straight but they are rusted on the bottom. The yellow cab is in very good shape with no rust and the doors are very good shape with no rust. This project is ready to for someone to finish. You get everything I have for the trucks but the blue long bed. 2 frames, 3 cabs , fenders ,short bed, 2 hoods, and all the misc parts. some new rubber. The custom frame is done if you are making a driver , freshen up the paint if you are going for show. Feel free to ask question and yes if you are in the area you can come by and see for yourself. No Motor or transmission but it is set up for a SBC and a 700R. IF you happen to want a motor and tranny I do have a couple that I would part with price can be negotiated. 454 with a turbo 400, a 383 stroker motor w/ 202 heads and a turbo 350 or an 2001 8.1 vortec w/ an Allison tranny |

Conquest and controversy conclude the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona [spoilers]
Sun, 26 Jan 2014If you don't wish to know who won the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona, you should avert your eyes right now. We'll even give you a double-space to skedaddle...
For those of you still with us, the first race in the United SportsCar Championship (USCC) is done, but the discussions about it certainly won't end for a while. Daytona Prototypes claimed the first four overall places, the top spot taken by the No. 5 Action Express Coyote-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, Sebastien Bourdain and Burt Friselle. The 16th and final caution of the race bunched the field up for an eight-minute sprint to the flag, so the first place getter finished just 1.4 seconds ahead of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Dallara-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Max Angelelli. Third place went to Brian Friselle in the No. 9 Action Express Chevrolet Corvette DP, 20 seconds down. Chevrolet power hasn't taken the overall win since 2003, eleven years later it scores a one-two-three-four. The No. 6 Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing ORECA-Nissan 03 scored fifth place, the top LMP2 finisher.
The Prototype Challenge class win went to the No. 54 CORE Autosport team of Colin Braun, Jon Bennett, Mark Wilkins and James Gue.
Corvette Z06 and Viper TA square off at the strip
Wed, Jan 21 2015There are many long-standing grudge matches among automobiles: 911 vs GT-R, Mustang vs Camaro, Ferrari vs Lamborghini... but as far as high-end American metal goes, it doesn't get much more legendary than Viper vs 'Vette. So after Chevy released the new Corvette Z06, we knew it was only a matter of time before it would have to square off against the Viper TA. And what better place to pit these two parallel pillars of American performance than on the drag strip? Fortunately that's just what we have here. In one corner, the 2014 Dodge Viper TA, with its 8.4-liter V10 pumping out 640 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. In the other, the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, the supercharger on its 6.2-liter V8 more than making up for the discrepancy in displacement and cylinder count to produce 650 hp and just as much torque. But numbers don't tell the whole story, so watch the video clip to see which reaches the end of the quarter-mile first. 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit
Mon, 04 Mar 2013We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.
