this is a 1956 GMC 1/2ton with 3/4ton Napco axels I bought this truck in Oregon and have a clear Oregon title it has a chevy v/8 with headers does not run! The truck sets very nice has 16" wheels has some typical rust front fenders (passenger side should be replaced) steps, cab corners and also in cab above windshield (if bought for full price I will include a header piece to repair this a good hood and a better passenger front fender) dash has been cut for radio.
drivers side door is rusted on the bottom and skin is loose but is very fixable passenger door is not as bad. bed is in pretty good shape has dent in rear fender bed wood is gone has correct GMC tailgate comes with a box of small parts that were in the truck when I purchased it. Missing seat and front driveline I have tried to describe the truck in its current condtion please ask questions before you buy! This is a hard to find truck that could be put back on the road as is or could be restored $500.00 nonrefundable deposit due when purchased and balance within 7 days buyer to arrange and pay all shipping

Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.
GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada
Thu, 21 Feb 2013Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
