Auction is for a 1955 Chevrolet 3100 step side truck on a 1994 S-10 chassis that is full Air ride and 4 linked in the rear with a Ford 9" rearend. This truck is almost complete just needing some finishing and just have to many projects to complete this one. This truck comes with a brand new 3rd member as pictured for the 9" has all brand new airbags and compressor system with tanks approx 5 gal. all air ride is wired and plumbed works perfect. Truck has brand new wiring that is nearly complete just needs lights and starter small stuff finished. We sentauge cluster out and it was rebuilt and zeroed now to work with the new truck(wasn't cheap!). Truck also has a new rebuilt powerglide that had extensive work in the rebuild built tough around $2000 on that. The engine is a 350 H.o crate motor that has around 25k on it paperwork is included and pictured. As you can see the truck has good sheetmetal and where it was bad it was repaired with new panels, all the glass is nice as pictured one wing window has a crack. This truck comes with about enough to complete it has brand new fuel tank behind the seat and all boxes of parts brackets alternator chrome and power steering parts. The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories
Wed, 06 Feb 2013As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
