I am listing this truck for a friend who is not very computer savvy. It is a Napa County California truck from new. Spent most of it's life on a winery. This particular truck has a 4 Speed Hydramatic Transmission which was the first year it was available for Chevy Trucks. Very rare as most were manuals. Deluxe Comfortmaster Cab with corner windows, chrome window moldings, drivers side arm rest and cigar lighter. Other options included turn signals, electric windshield wipers, heater and a side mounted spare tire. 80K original miles from new. The truck is running and driving and gets used on the property rather often. There is no cancerous rust on this truck. Just the slight surface rust that you can see in the pictures. Undercarriage is very solid as well as you can see in the pictures. Paint is original and there is still the factory chalk markings under the hood on the firewall. Very original, honest and rust free truck. Can be driven as is or a perfect candidate for restoration as it still retains most of its' original parts from the factory. New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette
Mon, 04 Feb 2013If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
