Up for sale is my 1946 Chop Top Chevy Truck. The truck comes equipped with a new 350 crate motor from ATK Performance with a 2 year warranty, that was installed in November 2013. The motor has less than 100 miles on it, since installed. It comes with a turbo 350 transmission with a small stall converter, that shifts smoothly and with ease. The truck has power windows and the door handles have been shaved. I do have the remote system to open the doors but they are not currently hooked up, doors open by push button located behind the cab. The truck has disc brakes on all 4 corners with a camaro front clip. All of the electrical equipment works with no issues ( turn signals, head lights, tail lights and gauges ). The gauge cluster is a TPI and brand new as well. The front head lights have been shaved and Frenched in the front finders. The factory fuel tank has been removed and I have installed a 20 gallon aluminum fuel tank in the bed. The wood floor in the bed has been sanded, stained and clear coated. The truck is very solid and straight with no rust, but a few chips in the paint, that are minor. The truck is a real head turner that gets attention everywhere I take it. ALL STEEL BODY. The truck is very reliable and clean, with a little more work it could be turned into a show winning show truck or one wicked hot rod. If you have any additional question feel free to call or text me at 254-640-1951. The truck is up for sale locally also and I reserve the right to end the sale at any time. ONLY BID IF YOU PLAN ON BUYING THE TRUCK. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding. |

Do you guys like trucks?
Wed, Jan 17 2018Do you guys like trucks? If the answer is yes, boy do we have the show for you! The 2018 North American International Auto Show is lousy with 'em. Yeah, we saw the new Ram 1500, Chevy Silverado and Ford Ranger, but that's just scratching the surface. There are big trucks, little trucks, clean trucks, dirty trucks, old trucks, new trucks, red trucks, blue trucks. It's like a Dr. Seuss book. Anyway, we made a little video for you truck nuts (see what I did there?). Check it out above, and if you're looking for more serious coverage of the Detroit Auto Show, we've got it, along with a ton of images and other videos from the show floor. Enjoy! GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
