This Nova started out as a Oklahoma Rust Free 78 Nova Rally with a 305.. I have changed it to the SS package during the restoration. Its has been painted the original GM Hugger orange that was a factory nova color until 1976. The paint in urethane with clear coat. The bumpers and trim is very nice. undercarriage is clean and painted as well with new fuel tank, brake lines, and suspension. The rear end is a 8.5 GM Posi with 4:11 gears and is totally rebuilt drum to drum,The trans is a fresh rebuilt th350 man/auto valve body, with a hughes 2200-2500 stall converter. The engine is a .040 over 350 vortec with a .500 lift roller GM performance cam, vortec. 062 heads, full roller rockers, flat top KB 2 valve relief pistons, Performance Products air gap intake, Holley Vac. Sec. Carb. The car runs very well. The interior has been upgraded to 2000 Trans Am leather seats and console. The driver seat is power. Most everything in the interior is either new or restored. Sound deadner and insulation was installed for a quiet ride. The rare factory rally gauge cluster 120mph speedo and tach are not functional all other gauges are working as they should. I added another tach and I use my GPS for speed. The stereo is an Alpine with Alpine 6x9’s and custom 6” in the kick panels. Wheels are Weld Draglites. Trunk is finished as well. I drive this car a few times a month during the summer months and it’s a pleasure to drive. Every inch of this nova has been either replaced or restored. You would have a very hard time finding another nova this nice for my asking price. It’s as nice in person as in the pics. Nothing to hide. Any questions just ask. I really am not needing the money so it’s not like it has to sell. I just have another project waiting in the garage. I will assist your shipper with loading and meeting if this is your choice of picking the car up. Cash in hand if picking up and if you are sending a Cashiers Check it must clear my bank before the car leaves my garage. Usually 5-7 working days. You won’t be disappointed.

So, how do you actually pronounce that automaker's name?
Thu, Jan 21 2016You probably have that friend who always says Porsche wrong, or maybe it's someone who keeps reminding you it's actually two syllables. Whichever side of the pronunciation debate you fall on, you'll find someone to root for in the video above. And before you ask, this was all the video team's idea. So don't get mad at me for being the voice of reason. BMW Chevrolet Hyundai Nissan Rolls-Royce Videos Original Video nissan qashqai
GM won't pay owners of recalled cars for lost value
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Kenneth Feinberg, the man in charge of the General Motors compensation fund dealing with the its widespread ignition switch woes, has issued an informal, two-letter response to the plaintiffs in more than 70 lawsuits seeking redress for lost resale value of their Cobalts: "No." The cases were recently combined into one, but Feinberg told The Detroit News that the fund will deal "only with death and physical injury claims," and that "perceived diminished value" will get no consideration.
ALG, the firm specializing in establishing residual values, determined that Cobalt owners had lost $300 compared to the segment competition and doesn't envision any long-term effects from the recall situation. Feinberg's statement comes in advance of public details on how the compensation fund will work and adheres to GM's long-held position on the matter. The company has already asked a judge to throw out such suits using the pre-bankruptcy defense, even as it stopped using that defense in cases of injury and death.
With plenty of potential gain from the GM suit, however, don't expect the plaintiffs to give up yet. When Toyota was sued for the same reason during the unintended acceleration debacle, it eventually settled the case for between $1 billion and $1.4 billion just to get it over with. Since the 85 law firms involved in the Toyota litigation took home more than $250 million of that total, we shouldn't expect the attorneys to give up on a GM payout, either.
Weekly Recap: Revisting the BBC report that ended Jeremy Clarkson's Top Gear run
Sat, Mar 28 2015Jeremy Clarkson's long run as a Top Gear host has come to an end, and the reason is clear: His physical assault on one of the show's producers crossed a line, and the government-owned BBC couldn't tolerate it. The incident between Clarkson and Top Gear producer Oisin Tymon was initially described as a "fracas," and Clarkson was suspended. But his popularity and widespread support – even British Prime Minister David Cameron weighed in – suggested that the controversial Clarkson might be given yet another chance. The BBC put this to rest Wednesday when it sacked Clarkson and revealed the findings of its investigation. The report spelled out how Clarkson struck Tymon on the patio of a North Yorkshire (UK) hotel, leaving him with a bloodied, swollen lip. It was severe enough that the producer sought medical treatment. During and after the attack, Clarkson shouted expletives at Tymon and threatened to fire him. The noise carried into the hotel's dining room and even to a bedroom. Local police investigated the incident, but Tymon isn't pressing charges. The huge audience numbers, Clarkson's popularity and the high-octane excitement of Top Gear all melted away in the eyes of BBC director-general Tony Hall, who saw an attacker and a victim. "For me a line has been crossed," he said in a statement. "There cannot be one rule for one and one rule for another dictated by either rank, or public relations and commercial considerations." In that moment, Clarkson was the bad guy, though he was actually the one who reported it to the network and made repeated attempts to apologize to Tymon. He's also urged the media to leave the producer alone. Hall voiced regret in the statement that announced Clarkson's contract would not be renewed, but the BBC decided to move on. Rumors are swirling about possible replacements for Clarkson. The network says it wants to continue Top Gear in 2016 and is looking to air the rest of this season's episodes. Despite the controversy, the show has a global audience of 350 million viewers and is one of the BBC's most valuable properties. It's unclear what Clarkson's co-hosts, James May and Richard Hammond, will do, as their contracts were also reportedly up to be renewed.
