THE INTERIOR IS BLACK, WITH BLACK BUCKET SEATS.  The car had a 6 cyls when I bought it.  I got a 1990 chevy truck engine and rebuilt it.  I have all the restoration pictures to show. The floor is new, carpet new too. The engine has; new  pistons, bearings, heads, highrise manifold, holly street avenger 670 4 barrel carb. Ceramic headers, new distributor, coil pack and wires. The radiator is brand new Summitt aluminum raditator. Under hood is meticulus, and very well maintained. This is the most dependable car I ever built. Better than a new car!  I have only 3000 miles on this drive train. The tranmission is a 350 turbo with 2500 stall convertor, and shift kit. Drive shaft and joints are new. the rear is a BRAND NEW 10 bolt posi, with 3:08 gears. This car will pull major hole shots, or burnouts for show. It wins at all the car shows. The shocks are new, with rear ait rides. gas tank is brand new with stainless steel fuel line to th engine. Its has chrome crager wheels.  Theres nothing that was not replaced!  I have 6 years labotr invested in this car. Its very, very  nice.  I have underhood custom mirrors installed.  I think I am at 400 HP on this beauty. All the engine parts are from summitt racing. The interior is spotless, as is the engine compartment. It has  front line lock brakes, with switch near shifter. Great hole shots. I put in a Hurst mega shifter, and new bucket seats.  Its done.  If your seeking a great 37 year old restored hot rod, this is it. 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.

2016 Chevy Volt will not need premium gas

Wed, Oct 29 2014

Buried in the new technical details of the 2016 Chevy Volt released yesterday was a throwaway line about a small but important change that's due to the new 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. The first-gen Volt has always required premium gas but the new powerplant will be happy burning plain old regular. The Volt's chief engineer, Andrew Farah, told AutoblogGreen that the change was due to today's Volt owners explaining they were not happy paying for top-shelf petroleum. "The ability to use regular unleaded was based directly on customer feedback," he said. "Since the range extender is an all-new engine, it was optimized to use regular unleaded at the outset. Using regular fuel will not have effect on vehicle acceleration or other performance factors." As Larry Nitz, GM's executive director of vehicle electrification, told AutoblogGreen yesterday, the new engine is more powerful and quieter than the outgoing 1.4-liter engine that's used in the current Volt. Fuel economy and EV range specs for the next-gen Volt are not expected until the full car is revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

2020 Chevy Trax spied sporting design cues from the new Blazer

Wed, Oct 3 2018

We saw spy shots in August for what we thought was either a redesigned Chevrolet Trax or new GMC subcompact crossover. At the time we were leaning Chevy. But after this latest batch of spy shots taken near GM's proving grounds, we're now thinking this one is the Trax replacement and the other one was a GMC. For one, the thin row of LEDs looks remarkably similar to the 2019 Chevy Blazer's LED strip. The additional light slightly below that is similar to the Blazer as well, leading us to believe that the next Trax will have a Blazer-esque front end. At first glance, this vehicle looks slightly larger than today's Trax with a much brawnier shape than the current blob-like design. The rear roof cladding could be hiding the same sloped rear window with spoiler hangover we see on the Blazer. Circling back to the other small GM crossover we caught testing, this one doesn't have those Blazer elements. The curved windshield and sloping roof are like those of the GMC Terrain, as are the horizontal grille bars. By contrast, the above car has a straighter windshield and a roof shaped more like the Blazer. One element that does seem to diverge from the new Blazer are the taillights, but they don't exactly look production-ready anyway. If we're right about this being the next Trax (and we're pretty sure we are) then this looks to be a more distinctive vehicle than what it will replace. The mirrors have left their awkward spot on the doors, and it's shaping up to be a much sportier looking crossover as a whole. This vehicle will most likely end up being a 2020 model year car, and if so, we would expect to see undisguised photos of both it and the assumed GMC version next year.
