Selling a 1973 Chevy Nova. The car has a 5.0l v8 307 small block engine. For starters the car needs lots of work. It starts right up and drives but it needs some TLC. The car is full of rust but can be fixed. The title is clear and states EXEMPT under the mileage so theres no way of knowing how many miles it actually has. Unfortunately I don't have the time for it right now and I need to sell it. The interior is in great shape. the car has cold A/C that is fully functional. I also installed a brand new flow master muffler and some 6X9 Speakers in the back. The undercarriage of the car has ALOT of rust. The body has some rust too and i was able to fix some of it when i took it to the shop. This car is perfect for someone who wants a project car and wants to spend time to fix it up. MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon
Sat, Jun 20 2015MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.
Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.
