i have for sale my 1971 nova ss. the car is a true ss. it has a 383 stroker motor built by charlie hempfield pushing about 600 to the crank and a 700r4 transmission with a 3500 stall. the car runs great and is super clean definetly a eye grabber. the interior has been mostly restored with a few minor things left some of which i have the stuff to finish the car that ill include in sale. the car is also equipped with a brand new nitrous set up. its all nos stuff except the fuel regulator is a mr gasket as its only a small 100 shot and yes the motor will take that and could take up to about a 175 shot which the system will jet to easily. with good head gaskets itll take 300 shot or more. all the nitrous buttons are hidden in the car so that no one can see it as the car is meant to be a car you can drive to a cruise in and then afterwards go whoop up on somebody at the track or somewhere and theyd never know why unless you told them. it has a bottle opener, bottle heater, bottle blanket, the bottle is the brand new style nos with about 3/4 full and has a high flow valve on it. the bottle was installed and set up by a professional. the rear end is a 10 bolt with 3.23 gears as i drive the car around and it use to have 4.11's which i just didnt like due to the fact of me sometimes being on the highway but i do still have them and they to will be included in the purchase. the car had been wrecked before and i took it and had the whole frame looked at and fixed. the only noticeable thing from that is that the drive side front fender and hood dont line up perfectly but its not to bad and wouldnt take nothing but going to the body shop to fix easily. the car has most of the chrome and emblems are new along with the weatherstripping except for the vent windows which i have as well. the car has glow shift gauges all matching(tach, volts, water temp, oil pressure) volts water and oil are in the console with the new shifter that is made to look like the original shifter. the 4th pod has a autometer super comp 2 nitrous bottle pressure as the glowshift that matched the others wouldnt work for some reason. the interior has 69 camaro seats in the front as they are basically the same as 71 nova seats just you could add alil bit more chrome to those and the back seat IS in the car as well. the car has not been tubbed or anything. has original ss steering wheel with a new tilt steering column. does not have ac as was not a original ac car. has new custom audio sound speakers just installed along with digital radio made to look like original until cut on. the car would make a wonderful street rod as that is what i used it as on nice days out and could be turned into a monster pro street car if thats what you wanted as well as it has the motor, tranny and all the other goodies such a msd 6al box blaster 2 coil holley blue fuel pump new water pump everything. the car has front disc brakes and rear drums as came from factory. im looking to sell the car not because i want to really but because i want to get more into drag racing and this car is just not the car i would want to take and gut it all up personally. so im selling it in order to fund another project.
also have receipts of everything from new radiator(with warranty paperwork down to what kinda oil i ran and sparkplugs) also have clear title to car as well

Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.
Best and Worst GM Cars
Thu, Apr 7 2022Oh yes, because we just love receiving angry letters from devoted Pontiac Grand Am enthusiasts, we have decided to go there. Based on a heated group Slack conversation, the topic came up about the best and worst GM cars. First of all time, and then those currently on sale, and then just mostly a rambling discussion of Oldsmobiles our parents and grandparents owned (or engineered). Eventually, three of us made the video above. Like it? Maybe we can make more. Many awesome GM cars are definitely going unmentioned here, so please let us know your bests and worsts in the comments below. Mostly, it's important to note that this post largely exists as a vehicle for delivering the above video that dives far deeper into GM's greatest hits and biggest flops, specifically those from the 1980s and 1990s. What you'll find below is a collection of our editors identifying a best current and best-of-all-time choice, plus a worst current and worst-of-all-time choice. Comprehensive it is not, but again, comments. -Senior Editor James Riswick Best Current GM Vehicle Chevrolet Corvette We were flying by the seats of our pants a bit in this first outing and my notes were similarly extemporaneous. When it came time to tie it all together on camera, I failed spectacularly. Thank the maker for text, because this gives me the opportunity to perhaps slightly better explain my convoluted reasoning. I chose the C8 Corvette because it's simply overwhelmingly good, and it's merely the baseline from which this generation of Corvette will be expanded. While the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing (more on that in a minute) is an amazing snapshot of GM's current performance standing and its little sibling so enraptured me that I went out and bought one, their existence is fleeting. Corvette will live on; forced-induction Cadillac sport sedans, not so much. So while all three are amazing machines when viewed in a vacuum, the Corvette stands above them as both a reflection of GM's current performance credentials and a signpost of what is to come. So, given the choice between the C8 and the 5V-Blackwing right now, I'd choose the C8. In 10 years, when the Blackwing is no longer in production and Corvette is in its 9th generation? Well, that might be a different story. Now, just pretend I said something even remotely that coherent when we get to the part of the video where I try to make an argument for the 5-V Blackwing as best GM car I've ever driven. Or just laugh at me while I ramble incoherently.
Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
