I think everything is covered in  ''condition'' but I will say it runs like a top and will outrun my new chevy Tahoe!,  with the crack in the fill spout you don't fill the tank all the way but I am assuming whoever buys this for the min. bid is going to do some work on it, I don't think you will be disappointed except for the exterior paint and the interior.  The fender dents where the hood meets on the front are pretty sharp.  The car spent about 13 years in Seattle and it's earlier life was on the East coast where I understand it had two carbureators on it but when the gas crunch hit in '73 he had a gas sipper carb put back on it with this intake manifold  and I havn't done a thing to it and the mileage is the best I've ever gotten with a car I owned.  The car has been parked here at the ranch since about 1986 and I've used it off and on for a daily driver.  I now have a '72 chevy van which I use when I have to have a alternate car but I would sure miss this Nova and truly do not care if it sells or not as I think I mabey should of listed it in Hemmings anyway.   The engine uses oil due I believe to stem seals.  The engine is certainly original OEM and I am quite sure the head has never been off it.  It's always had good brakes.  The new tires are a smaller diameter on the front end.  the new clutch and brakes probably have 3-5k miles on them, most all freeway but new was about 1998!  I believe I had a new exhaust put on it, I just don't recall when, mabey if I go back out there and look I could figure it out?  it sounds quiet though.  The previous owner came from Puerto Rico and was a film/documentary producer who didn't get along with Geraldo!,  he was no hot rod but put the dents in the fender driving back to capitol hill (seattle) from Bogies in the rain!

2015 Chevrolet Cruze spied on its home turf

The next Chevrolet Cruze isn't set to go into production for about another year, and we're just now seeing prototypes of the new compact running around here in the States. Not much more has been revealed since we saw the car blasting through the snow in Europe, but we can still clearly see new design elements like the larger grille, slimmer headlamps and redesigned taillamps.
Our spy photographers worked up a composite image of this Cruze prototype alongside the current model, and here, we can clearly see some big visual changes are in store for the new model. The 2015 Cruze's hood slopes downward more dramatically, the windshield is more heavily raked, and the roofline looks more fluid overall. The next-generation Cruze will ride on the new global Delta platform that will also underpin other General Motors vehicles like the Chevrolet Volt and Equinox.
As for what's under the hood, we expect the normal range of gasoline four-cylinder engines (both naturally aspirated and turbocharged), and the compact's new turbodiesel four should carry over, as well. Have a look at the full brace of spy photos in the gallery above.

Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon get updated tachometers due to graphical error

After James Bearing bought a Chevrolet Colorado, he noticed a discrepancy between the truck's spec sheet and the truck's tachometer: Chevrolet said 3.6-liter V6 in the little pickup produces 305 horsepower at 6,800 rpm, but the the tachometer indicates a redline at 6,500 rpm. So either he wasn't making as much power as he was promised, or the tachometer display was incorrect. Bearing said he asked Chevy about it but got no response. Until now. A General Motors spokesman said the rev limiter is indeed set for 6,800 rpm, but the tach graphics "are slightly off" in the Colorado and the GMC Canyon, and submitted an SAE horsepower certification to back him up. If you're wondering how such a thing got past quality control... well, let's just say you're not alone. GM is going to fix "the graphics on future trucks," which makes it sound like Bearing will just have to learn to live with the indicated redline he's got. He could always pretend he's driving a sleeper, with four more ponies waiting to be unlocked in the danger zone for those who dare. Watch how Corvette Racing's new collision-avoidance radar system works

When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.
