A 1967 Chevy Nova 2 Dr Hardtop in Tuxedo Black. Any needed body work has been done before the paint was applied. It has a newly rebuilt 350 V-8 with a rebuilt 350 Turbo transmission. It has a new radiator and battery. The engine has approximately 3,000 miles on it since the rebuild. This was a west coast car until last November and has not been in a midwest winter. The interior is great. It has a new headliner and the seats are in very good condition. It has a floor shifter and console. It has after market gauges installed and CD player. I just installed brand new American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels and the tires are like new. It has new chrome bumpers and the SS trim package. It is not a true SS but does carry the SS trim. New wiper arms and blades. The price of these Nova's are on the rise and expected to keep rising in the future so it would make a very good long term investment for someone. I will not deliver the car but I will assist the buyer in getting the car to a transporter for shipping. I have the car for sale locally so I retain the right to end this auction early if it sells. GM to trim Russian output, raise prices amid currency woes
Thu, Feb 5 2015General Motors is shutting down its factory in Russia's second largest city, St. Petersburg, from the middle of March until the middle of May as the country's currency, the ruble, continues to give economists fits. The ruble's value has plunged due not only to western sanctions, but a precipitous fall in oil prices. We knew these factors were already impacting the auto industry there, as Ford reported in its 2014 earnings statement, and now they're forcing GM to cut production at the factory, shown above, that is responsible for production of the Chevrolet Cruze and Opel Astra. Meanwhile, Automotive News is citing Russian outlet Kommersant as saying that GM has hiked its prices in the country by an average of 20 percent over the past two months. While a GM spokesman confirmed the St. Petersburg plant would be shut down for the two-month span reported by Kommersant and AN, he would not confirm the price increase. These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).

Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing

The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
