1967 Chevy Ii Real 118 Ss 350 4 Speed Sharp!! on 2040-cars
North Tazewell, Virginia, United States
Let's get this out of the way first..... If you are looking for a perfect rotisserie restored trailer queen turn back now, But if you can appreciate a nice driver quality car and don't want to spend that $35-45,000 for a perfect show car keep reading! Here is a nice driver 1967 Chevy ll real 118 code SS that has been done a couple of years and belonged to the same guy for aprox 15+ years. We recently took this car on trade and it gets a lot of attention! This SS has a good body and very solid and clean undercarriage. It has been painted for aprox 10 years and the paint is slick and has a high gloss shine. It is not flawless but what I consider above driver quality. The car has had new front and rear bumpers other than that all other chrome and stainless appears to be original and looks good but as expected does show its age. The glass also appears to be original and shows a few scuffs and scratches.. It is setting on new 17 inch torque thrust wheels w/ new tires. The interior looks great and has recently had ALL NEW...seat covers, carpet, door panels, console and factory shifter. The dash is filled with all new autometer working gauges and an aftermarket am/fm cass (radio powers on and is new but no sound due to no speakers) The car a very radical sounding fresh built 350, newly rebuilt Muncie four speed and a ford 9 inch rear end with 4:11 gears. It has been upgraded with Wilwood front disc brakes, painless wiring system, and a new aluminum radiator to insure no heating problems. I am a licensed and bonded Virginia dealer but am not accepting any trades at this time. WE WELCOME ALL BUYERS WORLD WIDE!! We reserve the right to end this auction at anytime for any reason as this car IS for sale locally.... Most of my auctions end early with an accepted offer and I am followed up with a ton of the same questions wanting to know if the car sold and 9 out of 10 of my answers are yes!! If you are in the market don't wait until its over call today!!!! If you have any questions or offers feel free to call or email anytime at 276-920-1351 TO SEE OTHER CARS FOR SALE CLICK HERE>>> other items! Thanks and good luck!!! |

2014 Corvette Stingray meets Tesla Model S in drag strip showdown
Wed, Jan 29 2014They come from two different worlds and have little in common. The Tesla Model S P85 is the sportiest version of this paradigm-punching sedan from California, while the 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 is a performance-enhanced version of Michigan's recently-updated sports car stalwart. The West Coast car seats five adults and eats electrons like Popeye eats spinach, the Easterner has two passenger places and, surprisingly, sips gasoline like one might bourbon. An attribute they do happen to share is extreme quickness. This similarity is all the excuse Drag Times needed to set the vehicles beside each other at the Palm Beach International Raceway for a bit of mano-a-mano quarter-mile combat. Fortunately enough, cameras were rolling for each of two bouts down the blacktop and the results recorded for our edification and enlightenment. The winner? We won't spoil it for you, but let's just say it's really, really close. How close? Scroll below and watch the video for yourself. Just be warned, the results may surprise you. Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial
Sat, 16 Mar 2013
The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]
Mon, 18 Aug 2014For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered. There's a press release below with more information as well as a video that explains how it works, with the obligatory dig at the 'Vette's biggest foe.
