This 1967 Chevrolet Nova is in great condition, it has been stored inside and is very solid. I have attached several recent pictures for you to view and see how nice this Nova looks in person. I have a clear Georgia title in my name. The Nova is a very nice classic to drive or show, it is ready to go… Get in, start it up and enjoy the ride! The car gets lots of attention and compliments!

BODY: The body is an SS look alike, it straight and solid, the paint looks to be a 8-9 out of 10 and looks very nice. The truck, floor pans and body panels are all solid and not rust, chrome looks very nice. It does have a few small imperfections as with any driven classic (see pictures). but overall a very nice classic!

DRIVETRAIN: The previous owner said the engine is 327, I have not confirmed the engine size. It has a small cam and it can be heard as the car idles, headers, MSD Distributor, edlebrock 4 barrel with contender intake, 3 core aluminum radiator and electric fan keep it running cool. The automatic transmission is a turbo 350 with B&M floor shifter. tachometer and gauges all work. The engine bay is very clean and looks great as in the pictures!

SUSPENSION: The Nova has been lowered, the wheels turn and handle bumps without rubbing or hitting anything. The ride is comfortable and smooth, the wheels and tires are like new condition. It has a great stance and rides very nice!

INTERIOR: The interior is in great condition with bucket seats, console. The carpet, headliners, dash pad, door panels and seats are all very presentable and in great condition!

ELECTRICAL: The lights, blinkers, high beams, window wipers, brake lights, license plate lights, interior lights, dashboard lights all are in working order. The heat and defrost work and blows hot air as it should. The factory radio looks nice but does not work. The speedometer, oil pressure, temperature, amp meter and gas gauges all work correctly.

LOCATION: the Nova is located in Rincon, GA in the garage at my house. Rincon is next to Savannah GA, approximately 4 Hours from Atlanta GA. 2 hours from Jacksonville FL. and 2 Hours from Myrtle Beach SC.

TERMS OF SALE: This is a private sale, no additional fees like dealers charge. The winning bidder is required to pay a 500.00 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours after auction ends. Final payment is due within 10 days after auction ends.

I have 100% positive feedback, bid with confidence! If you have any questions or need more information or to schedule an inspection call Scott 912-414-2419. Please have permission to purchase and funds approved and available prior to purchase.

This 450-hp electric Lotus Evora is powered by Tesla and Chevrolet

Tue, May 9 2017

When someone mentions an electric Lotus, the first thing that comes to mind is the Tesla Roadster, the California-based automaker's first vehicle. That car started life as an Elise before being heavily massaged and adapted by Tesla's engineers. In a similar spirit, the people at Onpoint Dyno are close to finishing Blue Lightning, a track-ready all-electric Lotus Evora. Blue Lightning uses a Tesla drive unit and a Chevrolet Volt battery pack, both mounted in the middle in place of the Evora's 3.5-liter Toyota V6. It's putting down about 450 horsepower at the wheels. The car was built for time attack sessions, so power is fed through custom forged wheels and super sticky Pirelli PZero Trofeo R tires, the same ones found on the last Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. There is a custom digital instrument cluster in place of the Lotus gauges. There's also a regen paddle on the left side of the steering wheel. With a full charge, Blue Lighting should go about 120 miles. While the car runs under its own power, it's only about 90 percent complete. It has no power steering, no firewall in between the seats and the motor and battery pack, no A/C, and a large hole where the shift lever used to be. Other final touches include fine-tuning the brakes and suspension. There is also a custom rear bumper coming that should make it look more like the new Lotus Evora 400. Onpoint Dyno expects the car to hit the track in the next month or so. Related Video:

Poor headlights cause 40 cars to miss IIHS Top Safety Pick rating

Mon, Aug 6 2018

Over the past few months, we've noticed a number of cars and SUVs that have come incredibly close to earning one of the IIHS's highest accolades, the Top Safety Pick rating. They have great crash test scores and solid automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning systems. What trips them up is headlights. That got us wondering, how many vehicles are there that are coming up short because they don't have headlights that meet the organization's criteria for an "Acceptable" or "Good" rating. This is a revision made after 2017, a year in which headlights weren't factored in for this specific award. This is also why why some vehicles, such as the Ford F-150, might have had the award last year, but have lost it for this year. We reached out to someone at IIHS to find out. He responded with the following car models. Depending on how you count, a whopping 40 models crash well enough to receive the rating, but don't get it because their headlights are either "Poor" or "Marginal." We say depending on how you count because the IIHS actual counts truck body styles differently, and the Infiniti Q70 is a special case. Apparently the version of the Q70 that has good headlights doesn't have adequate forward collision prevention technology. And the one that has good forward collision tech doesn't have good enough headlights. We've provided the entire list of vehicles below in alphabetical order. Interestingly, it seems the Volkswagen Group is having the most difficulty providing good headlights with its otherwise safe cars. It had the most models on the list at 9 split between Audi and Volkswagen. GM is next in line with 7 models. It is worth noting again that though these vehicles have subpar headlights and don't quite earn Top Safety Pick awards, that doesn't mean they're unsafe. They all score well enough in crash testing and forward collision prevention that they would get the coveted award if the lights were better.
