You are bidding on a 1967 Chevy Nova 2 door hard top. original 6 cylinder and power glide transmission with power steering and brakes & 14x6 rally wheels this is a nice running and driving survivor. Odometer shows 64,157 but my guess would be 164,157 miles. I acquired this from an older gentlemen and when you look in it you can tell this belonged to and older person has the original Chevy under dash Kleenex dispenser and after market in dash am/fm 8 track player. Car was originally Granada Gold with black interior but the previous owner did not like the gold and had it repainted years ago white, there are a lot of witness spots where the white has flaked of the gold as this was painted years ago and is showing age. floors and frame nice and solid has a couple of little spots at base of toe boards that will need repaired not serious enough to warrant toe board replacement and a little around drain hole in passenger front floor. may need driver quarter skin but hard to say without stripping it. left trunk extention has a rust hole were body plug goes, my opinion would be to fix it as the rest of extention is solid. the cowl and underneath hood, front and rear fender wells, frame, rockers and trunk floor are all solid, has some spots of surface here and there and a lot of them I put rust converter on them to preserve it until it could be got to left core support lower has a rust hole could easily be cut out and but weld a patch or a new core support is about 180 on ebay delivered. and some rust issues on under hood frame. I am being honest about the car as best I can without disassembling it my self. has black interior and the seats were redone by previous owner in clothe or tweed, this will save you about a grand.carpet is ok a little faded and the headliner and visors are separating at thread seams, material still good could be resewn also included is a complete soft seal weather stripping kit including paint gaskets minus windshield seal, original jack assembly, 4 original 14X6 steel wheels and 4 SS hub caps and a small block oil pan with oil pump, pick up and pump drive shaft. I have a pile of paper & receipts, owners manual and the Protect o Plate. This is a very nice drive while You restore or builder plat form hard to find 2 door hardtop un butchered and un cut. sold and resided in Tennessee until a couple of years ago. Thanks and happy bidding Check out my other items!

Motor Trend wheels the 2015 Corvette Z06
Tue, Nov 25 2014The new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is capable of some absolutely wild metrics. Want proof? Carlos Lago from Motor Trend is here to break it all down. 60 miles per hour? 3.2 seconds. 60 to 0? 91 feet. Lateral acceleration? A staggering 1.16g, a figure that is the highest MT has ever recorded for a vehicle that isn't a race car. It's an utterly astonishing piece of work, this Z06, and just when you think it can't possibly get any more impressive, Randy Pobst hustles an auto-equipped Z06 around Road Atlanta in just 1:30. Aside from the eight-speed auto, Pobst's Z06 had the most aggressive aerodynamic package, the so-called Stage III. Take a look at the 650-horsepower Z06 in Motor Trend's latest video.
Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.
AMC Trans Am Javelin SST, an ultra-rare underdog, is up for auction
Sat, Sep 9 2023Among the rarest of the American muscle cars that went racing in the early Seventies — cars including the Camaro Z/28 and the Boss 302 Mustang — the 1970 AMC Trans Am Javelin SST may be the most hard to find, and among the most valuable. Only 100 units of this unique Javelin were produced, and one of them is up for auction at the Mecum event in Dallas on September 20. The Trans Am Javelin was fashioned in a patriotic livery of tricolor paint — red, white and blue — and arrived after the American Motors Corporation had decided in 1968 to compete in the Trans Am racing series against Ford and General Motors. The company's chief driver, Mark Donohue, would dominate the 1971 season, taking seven wins in his Javelin AMX and that yearÂ’s SCCA Trans-Am Championship. AMC took the trophy with 82 points, well ahead of Ford's 61, Chevrolet's 17 and Pontiac's paltry 7. The example listed for auction came equipped with a 390-cubic-inch V-8 engine with 325 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 420 pound-feet of torque, power steering and brakes, dual exhaust, BorgWarner four-speed manual transmission and Hurst competition shifter. Its “ram induction system” sealed a chamber around the air filter so that cool air from the functional hood scoop would be funneled into the intake. This JavÂ’s factory price was $3,995 — a mere $32,000 or so in today's money, though it was expensive by the standards of the time. The 100 Trans Ams were among 19,714 Javelin units built in 1970, so they started out rare, and today the surviving examples are highly collectible, if and when they come up for sale.
