Lakeland, Florida, United States
1966 Chevy II hard top has a very nice 350 small block with roller cam that thumps!! Aluminum angle plug heads, Aluminum intake with Edelbrock 750 carb, HEI Dist, the motor has about 15,000 miles on rebuilt if that much. The trans is a turbo350 with 2500 stall convertor. The rear is 10 bolt with 3:55 posi with slapper bars. The car runs very strong and will lite the tires up... It runs cool with aluminum radiator and electric fans. The body was stripped to bare metal and repainted dark Blue with ghost flames it looks Black at night. The paint is slick and the body is strait. The rear wheel lips where raised about 1" from the factory height most people don't even notice but it allows for clearance for the larger tires. The car has all it's original panels and has very clean floors and trunk. The interior is Black and has Camaro buckets, the rear seat and door panels where redone to match the seats it looks great. The headliner and dash pad are original and are very nice but not perfect. The bumpers are original and look good for a driver but if your wanting a show winner you may want to replace them. The wing window rubbers are old and showing some dry rot, The door rubbers are newer and look good. All the glass is good and the windows roll up and down fine. The car is overall in great shape for a old classic and she sounds great with flowmasters and that thumping cam sound... AS for the price I'm open to realistic offers cash is king and you won't be disappointed in the car. I'm sure I forgot something so If you have any questions please call 813-478-3449. The car is sold as-is with no warranty's, the car has a clean Florida title in the last owners name I traded a 55 chevy for this car and never registered it. Winning buyer must pay all shipping charges I will help arrange on my end. I have a shipping company that has very good rates and no up front charges. I need the car paid in full within 1 week. 2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum
Fri, 02 May 2014Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.
