Up for auction, 1966 Chevy 2 Nova 2 door hardtop. Car is a project but can be made into a nice car. The car comes with new floor pans shown in pictures, also has new full quarters one finished one just tacked on the car. Car has a dual master cylinder installed and also front disk brakes. Car also comes with brand new complete rocker panels not skins. I checked out the wiring harness on the car, headlights ,tail lights, brake lights and dimmer switch all work. I took the dash out to check this stuff. The heater blower motor works also. Now for what I know has to be done. The left rear sub frame rail needs to be replaced, probably could patch but I would relpace. Both floor pans have rust but I have the new ones to install. Both rocker need to be installed , you probably could patch but hey brand new ones come with the car. All glass is good and windows roll up and down easy. This car needs work but could be made nice. Also has a set of bucket seats included I think out of a Chevelle but very similar to Nova seats. I would like to keep and fix this car but I have to many projects ahead of it. The car is for sale locally so i reserve the right to stop acuction at any time. Like I said the car needs work but is a complete rolling body less engine and trans. If you have any questions feel free to message me. I will answer all questions you may have about the car. Car does come with a clear title. Thanks and good luck bidding.

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.

GM already raising prices on 2014 Silverado and Sierra pickups

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

General Motors must be pretty pleased with sales of its two newest pickups, the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado, as it's announced price hikes for both models, as part of a planned price tweak.
Prices will be bumped by as much as $1,500, although weirdly, they'll be offset by as much as $1,500 in cash-back offers through the end of October. Fox Business reports that GM spokesman Jim Cain said of the price hike, "With the sell down of the '13 models nearly complete, this price adjustment was planned and is a normal part of business."
The move, as Fox is quick to point out, is an interesting one, as sales of the twin pickups struggled last month relative to the Ford F-Series, while both of GM's crosstown competitors have been aggressively undercutting Silverado and Sierra prices. The F-150 starts at $24,070 and the Ram 1500 comes in at $23,600, not counting any cash on the hood. A base Silverado, meanwhile, retails at $25,575.
