Up for bid is a 1963 Chevy Nova that was taken in on trade for a motorcycle so I will describe the car the best I can. The car has an older restoration and paint job. The paint is not perfect and does show some age. The interior is in pretty good shape also, It looks like who ever put the time in on the car changed the seats as you can see in the pictures. They look to be 1990's high back buckets and show some wear. Time was spend under the car installing frame ties and cleaning up. The underside is undercoated and is very clean. The engine is a 350 V8 and the transmission is a TH350. I was told by the previous owner that the engine was a mild 355 and the transmission was also worked on. The car runs out well and the transmission shifts are stiff. The car has a large gear in the rear axle and I was told it was a 4:11 but is an open carrier. I have taken a lot of pictures to show the condition so please review them. If you have any questions just ask and I will try to answer quickly. The car has a CLEAR Missouri title and it is in my hand. Pick Up Is Preferred But If You Want To Ship The Car You Can Make The Arrangements And I Will Help Get It Loaded.

GM to trim Russian output, raise prices amid currency woes
Thu, Feb 5 2015General Motors is shutting down its factory in Russia's second largest city, St. Petersburg, from the middle of March until the middle of May as the country's currency, the ruble, continues to give economists fits. The ruble's value has plunged due not only to western sanctions, but a precipitous fall in oil prices. We knew these factors were already impacting the auto industry there, as Ford reported in its 2014 earnings statement, and now they're forcing GM to cut production at the factory, shown above, that is responsible for production of the Chevrolet Cruze and Opel Astra. Meanwhile, Automotive News is citing Russian outlet Kommersant as saying that GM has hiked its prices in the country by an average of 20 percent over the past two months. While a GM spokesman confirmed the St. Petersburg plant would be shut down for the two-month span reported by Kommersant and AN, he would not confirm the price increase. Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin.
