Up for bid is 96 Monte Carlo Z34. Still in very good shape. Car runs out good. I bought this car from my brother thinking i was gonna drive it. But i got something else. And this would be more cash for licence and insurance. I kin of hate to get rid of it. I like the way it runs. So here it is. As you can see in the pics its white with a tan leather interior. Interior is in good shape with some wear on the driver seat.Comes loaded with PW,PS, FM CD,radio controls in the steering wheel. Like i said it is a low miles car. And runs good. Its got 3.4 DOHC V6. With 89006 miles on the engine. It does smoke a little when first started. Thats probably from sitting for the three years. It needs ran.The reason my bother quit driving it is because his dog out grew the car. He had to get a van. Tranny shifts good and smooth. The A/C DOES NOT work. But everything else seems to work good. Tires are in excellent shape. There are a few scratches and dings on it. Nothing major. Please look at the pics and ask questions. I will post more pics later. Crash victim found still inside car 6 hours after it was towed away [w/video]
Wed, Jan 7 2015Police near Dayton, OH, have quite a confusing case on their hands after the victim of a crash early on New Year's Day couldn't initially be found. Six hours later, the man was discovered lying on the vehicle's floorboard at the tow yard. The unidentified person was admitted to a local hospital in critical condition with possible leg injuries. The police first responded to the scene of the crash around 3:00 am on New Year's Day when a Chevrolet Impala hit a utility pole and drove through a fence, according to WHIO News. The authorities claim that they searched for the man for an hour and a half and came up with nothing. The car was then hauled away to the yard, which was only about 500 feet away. The tow yard worker found the man around 9:00 am and called 911. However, he was clearly dubious about the injured man's predicament and suggested to the operator that he might have returned to the Impala. Police are still investigating the incident. According to WHIO, authorities might have somehow missed the man in the sedan during the search. Alternatively, he could have left the scene of the accident and later returned. GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
