Could use a paint job( original paint) as in some of the clear coat is coming off , and there is some surface rust where the clear coat is coming off on the hood. These car's in this condition on NADA are around 6k to 8k..so This car is of some worth. Won't be given away!"

-Up for grabs is definitely a collectors item. An ALL original Chevy Monte CARLO SSThese cars are getting harder and harder to find in this shape.

- This Monte Carlo SS is one of the best I've seen personally in my time of owning and seeing these cars. The frame on this car is immaculate. There isn't any behind the rear wheel rust,, floorpan rust, or trunk rust. This is a  solid car.

- This car has the original engine and transmission in it. The car runs and drives great rides like a caddy! The car just recently passed emissions and inspection. The automotive shop was bragging on how clean the car was. I get compliments everywhere I go with the car.

-Some people say that these cars all original no engine or transmission work are valued more. Where as some want the ones that have 350's with shift kits and all that jazz. I like a car that is unmolested and nothing messed with that can go wrong.  I just recently put new plugs, wires, brakes, rotors and new air filter in the car.
The tires are around 70%. Good year Eagles.

The ac and power steering all works in the car. The cruise control does not, everything is where it needs to be, maybe just a bad module.

The interior of the car is immaculate! No cracked dashes, or ripped seats. The car does have an aftermarket radio in it, and wires ran. The cd player is where the ashtray sat. The Factory radio is still there and fully functional.

This car is for a collector.
With a paint job this car would be Show ready!
Worth around 6-8k easy.
I do have a reserve on the auction, also I have the right to remove it, I do have it up for sale locally.

Don't miss out on this classic soon to be antique , sought after car!

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

Sun, 01 Dec 2013

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R named Road & Track Performance Car of the Year

Mon, Nov 9 2015

With a 526-horsepower, 5.2-liter V8 that roars to 8,250 rpm, it's really hard to consider the 2016 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R an underdog in any fight. However, the Shelby held the lowest as-tested price and was only middle of the pack in terms of power in Road & Track's 2016 Performance Car of the Year challenge. The 'Stang's numbers clearly didn't tell the whole story about the potent coupe because Ford's muscle car grabbed the title in this year's test. A model needs to be new or significantly updated to be eligible for the honor, and R&T found an impressive slate of eight candidates this year. The challengers included the Bentley Continental GT3-R, Cadillac ATS-V Coupe, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Dodge Viper ACR, Mercedes-AMG GT S, and Porsche Cayman GT4. The Ferrari 488 GTB was the most expensive of the bunch with an as-tested price of $347,942, which is five times more than the Shelby. Once the group was together, R&T hustled them over curving roads and on the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park. There was a lot to love about the Shelby, even in this impressive crew. "With a flat-plane crank and Sport Cup 2 tires, the GT350R is a Mustang turned up to 11," editor-in-chief Larry Webster said in the announcement of the results. The GT350R joins some great company. Past winners include the Porsche 911 GT3 last year and the Corvette in 2013. For some fantastic photography and the complete appraisal of these performance machines check out R&T's website for the full story. Related Video: ROAD & TRACK NAMES THE FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT350R THE 2016 PERFORMANCE CAR OF THE YEAR New York, NY (November 9, 2015) – Road & Track today named the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R the 2016 Performance Car of the Year, beating out seven of the world's best new sports cars. The article appears in the December/January issue, on newsstands November 17, and on RoadandTrack.com. "With a flat-plane crank and Sport Cup 2 tires, the GT350R is a Mustang turned up to 11," said Larry Webster, editor-in-chief of Road & Track. "Not only does the car have soul and harness so much firepower with such ease, but the real achievement here is that it's so approachable. It's a car you can't help but love." The Mustang Shelby GT350R was the winner by a runaway vote.

eBay Find of the Day: 1990 Chevy 1500 454 SS with just 7 miles

Sun, Jan 4 2015

When trawling the classifieds either on a buying mission or merely a time-wasting mission, we spend a lot of time poring over photographs comparing the seller's idea of "Like New!" with our idea of it. It's hard to argue with seven original miles on the odometer, though, which is what this 1990 Chevrolet 1500 454 SS has. It's being sold by Country Chevrolet on eBay, the same dealer who sold the truck to its one and only owner 25 years ago. The purchaser bought two of them and left this one in a garage under a car cover, said garage being less than seven miles away from the showroom floor. Better yet, you can buy with confidence because the seller "has collected all records," which we expect would be the slimmest manilla folder in the history of receipt-keeping. For those unfamiliar, the 454 SS was a half-ton, regular cab, 2WD pickup powered by a 454 cubic inch (7.4-liter) V8 with 230 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque shifting through a three-speed transmission. This was at the same time the Chevrolet Corvette used a 5.7-liter V8 producing 250 hp and 350 lb-ft. The pickup rode on exclusive wheels and only came in black with red cloth inside. The only extra-cost option on this example is an $18 locking fuel filler cap, which, according to the 454ss forum, means it should have cost about $18,460 out the door, the equivalent of about $34,000 today. At the time of writing there are zero bids, but proceedings open at $45,000 and Country Chevrolet wants $49,000 if you have to have your time capsule right now.
