I have a 1977 chevy monte carlo with 96,800 orig. miles,this is a one owner car since purchased new by a 92 year old gentlemen,very well maintained it was his baby,it has factory air which is now blowing warm will need to be converted to be recharged,it has the corvette rallys,interior wise it has a seam line tear on drivers side other than that very nice shape,the body as you can see is in very good condition for the year yet it does have some minor rust,the car runs very well at most it would need would be some gasket replacing but no mechanical repairs at all,you could jump right in it and drive,I have orig. bill of sale and orig title to go along with it,and orig. manual,what a great car to semi restore,if you have any questions at all feel free to callme at 630-740-8872 Todd p.s. buyer will be responsible for any shipping fees

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future

The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.

Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape

Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
