1972 Monte Carlo with 350/350 tranny.Runs and shifts great,engine is all original with a/c that just needs to be charged.new dual 2 chamber flowmasters and 3 inch stainless steel tips.Has new bell tech 2" drop spindles in the front,new hotchkis idler arm,inner and outer tie rods,center link,tie rod sleeves,with 4 new bilstein shocks.Interior is in great shape and needs nothing,seats are black with dark red inserts,headliner in perfect shape,has new tach mounted on steering column and gauges under the dash.Body work has been started and just needs to be finished and the doors and fenders lined up better. Only selling to finish my 71. The rally wheels are not included but can be bought for an additional fee and only have maybe 20 miles on wheels an tires,will have original rally wheels on it with tires that hold air. Have brand new front bumper,2 extra back bumpers and all chrome,this is a complete car. Just needs new windshield,alignment,body work and paint. Email with any questions or text 256-349-8603. The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics
Mon, 20 Aug 2012After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.
