This is a solid original 50xxx mi car that I've known for 25yrs. It underwent a body and interior restoration in 2000 and has under 5000mi since. It has a small block 350 bolted to a 400 trans with a nice shift kit to its final 12 bolt rear end with 3.42 gears. It drives wonderfully and gets nothing but looks anywhere she goes. I personally paid $20,000 for this in 2008. In 2010 I was hospitalized with a rare heart condition and needless to say it sits more than enjoyed, so I'm selling so that it can be enjoyed as it should. I'm being very realistic on the price so I do not want anyone to waist my time or upset me with stupid offer, no trades and no help in selling it PERIOD.

Car is located in Melrose PK, IL and I much rather prefer a local sale or you arrange all shipping at your expense. This car does not come with any warranty's, promises or commitments by seller. As I know there is absolutely nothing wrong with this power train and I would not hesitate to jump in it and drive it to California and back.

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable

General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia

It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
