For Sale is a 1970 Monte Carlo. Body and vinyl top are in good condition. Under carriage does have some rust. Car starts and runs well. The car can be driven, however, it needs brake work, therefore it should be shipped. This car is in good condition for 43 years old. It would be a great car to restore. It does need some TLC. It needs tires, carpet, interior work, and possibly some minor engine work, etc. I had the top of the engine rebuilt about 4 years ago. I've had the car for six years and simply don't have the time or resources to continue working on it. It is a fun car to drive, but again, it does need some work. Buyer is responsible for shipping or picking-up car. Disclaimer: The car is 43 years old. I do not have a "Title." When I bought it I was given a bill of sale that I used to register and tag the car. The car was driven regularly for the past six years. Also, the odometer reads approximately 53,000 miles, however, I'm sure the mileage is more than that. During that time, odometers only registered five digits. Other than that, I have no way of verifying that as actual mileage. Thanks and happy bidding!

Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible is the track car for sun worshippers
Fri, 11 Apr 2014
Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns
Thu, 31 Jan 2013Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.
