Interior Color: Gold
Model: Malibu
Number of Cylinders: 8
Trim: some
Drive Type: 8 CYLINDER

This is a very nice 1981 Malibu Wagon. It has a sweet running 305 with a 4 barrel and an automatic that shifts great. It shows 59,800 miles but who knows if that is correct. I would call the body rust free. It has a few door dings. Some of the stick on side mouldings are missing. The car has been repainted from the windows down. Top is not as shiny as the rest. Interior is in great condition with a 60 - 40 split seat and arm rest. Carpet is faded but not torn. It has cruise, doesn't work. Air condition but the compressor has been removed. Power door locks work. Power steering, power brakes, Tilt wheel. New exaust. NEW tires. Rear window defroster, Underneath and frame are great. Now for the minor things wrong. Upper and right windshield mouldings are missing. We may have mouldings. Appears they tried to fix a windshield leak. The small right rear door window is broken as shown in a picture. This MAY be fixed by the time it is sold. Headliner is sagging. It has an aftermarket radio that doesn't seem to work. 500.00 due Pay Pal immediately following end of auction. Balance due in cash when car is picked up. Wouldn't be afraid to drive it home. Delivery may be possible for 1.50 per loaded mile. If you want delivery, fee is due before we leave. Please check out our other auctions and Ebay store for more old parts. We now have parts from about 50 old cars listed. We accept Pay Pal and other means of payment. GM opens military discount to 21M veterans and their spouses
Thu, Apr 7 2016May marks the start of National Military Appreciation Month, and General Motors is getting into the spirit by expanding its military discount program to, well, just about everyone. That includes a total of 21 million military veterans and their spouses, along with the current slate of active duty, reserve, and National Guard members. The discount can slash thousands of dollars off the price of a new Buick, Chevrolet, or GMC vehicles, with Automotive News listing an $1,100 discount on the top gas-powered version of the Malibu, the Premiere. Those that want a bit more spice can get $1,700 off the price of a last-generation 2015 Camaro SS, while truck buyers will enjoy $3,000 off the Chevy Silverado All Star. That's just a start, though, since the military discount can be paired with other GM incentives. The discount doesn't apply to everything, though. Some are understandable – none of Cadillac's vehicles are included in the deal, nor is the Corvette Z06. You'll also be unable to apply the discount to a range of base-level trims, like the Chevy Cruze or Equinox L, the base Colorado, or the entry level GMC Acadia, Canyon, and Terrain. A full list is available at GM's dedicated military discount website. GM's expanded discount plan runs from today through May 31. Chevy to show redesigned Captiva in Geneva, will it come to US rental lots?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013Unless you're renting a car or driving through Orlando, Florida (the rental car capital of the US), you'll probably never see a Chevrolet Captiva - the rebadged, fleet-only version of the old Saturn Vue - on our roads, but this crossover is popular in many other parts of the world. As such, Chevrolet announced that the Captiva will be getting an update for 2013, which will be unveiled next week at the Geneva Motor Show.
Coming off a pretty extensive refresh in 2011, the 2013 model year will bring even more changes to the Captiva like LED taillights, new 18-inch wheels and revised fascias with a new grille and fog lights up front and inset chrome exhaust outlets at the rear. New interior features include heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control as well as available options on some of the upper trim levels such as leather seating and keyless entry and start. We have yet to hear back from Chevrolet as to whether or not the updated Captiva will be making its way to a rental lot near you, as the model is only available in the US to fleet buyers.
Alongside the updated Captiva, Chevy is also showing off its new Trax in Europe, where the subcompact crossover will go on sale this spring. GM's press release for these two Geneva-bound models is posted below.
Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own
Tue, 22 Jan 2013It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.
