I have a 1980 Chevy Malbu V6 posi Rear
the car is running I just put new break lines on it. Daily driver with new state inspection. It has a clean title. 570-575-o188 call or text Tires are in great shape and has new corvette rally rims with centers and shines. *I was going to put a 350 in the spring, but other things are more important .* It could use a paint job someone painted it with junk paint. Someone also did a repair on the rear frame rails behind the tires. the Inter is a little rough. dash is cracked. the head liner is pined up All the floors are good and the body seems solid needs some small repairs here and there. Hot air balloons caught in high winds drag fullsize SUV
Mon, Jul 20 2015A sudden storm front whipped up enough wind to send some hot air balloons flying into the air in Wisconsin over the weekend. One ballon proved so energetic that it was able to drag a fullsize SUV across a field and into a stand of tents. The freak accident occurred at Balloonfest in Waterford, Wisconsin. Spectators were horrified as balloons dragged handlers to the ground and launched with terrified pilots clinging to their baskets. Organizers had started packing up the colorful balloons due to ominous storm clouds when the wind kicked up. "Happened just like that; it was crazy," Nathan Fricke, crew member, told Fox 6. Winds were clocked at 40 to 50 miles per hour. A balloon caught in the wind dragged a large SUV (we think a Suburban or Yukon XL) hundreds of feet and into a cluster of tents on the edge of the staging area where balloons were on display for festival goers. UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
