THIS IS A RUNNING AND DRIVING CAR THAT WAS PURCHASED AS A FLOOD VEHICLE AND DID HAVE A LITTLE WATER ON THE INSIDE.
IT HAS MONTE SS DASH CONSOLE AND INTERIOR THAT IS IN GREAT SHAPE. THERE IS NO ODOR OR ANY DAMAGE FROM THE WATER. IT DID NOT GO OVER THE SEATS
THE FUSE BLOCK WILL NEED TO BE CLEANED OR POSSIBLY REPLACED BUT MOSTLY EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL IS WORKING. LITTLE STUFF LIKE THE ELECTRIC FANS AND A FEW OF THE  GAUGES MAY NOT BE WORKING. IT COULD USE SOME UNDERHOOD DETAILING AS WELL.
THE CAR WAS BUILT RIGHT AND BUILDER DEFINATLY SPENT SOME MONEY MAKING IT HOW IT IS TODAY.
IT DOES HAVE A HIGH QUALITY PAINT JOB WITH A HAND PAINTED PINSTRIPE HOWEVER WE HAD CAR SITTING UNDER ANOTHER CAR THAT LEAKED SOME BRAKE FLUID ON THE ROOF IF YOU LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICS CLOSELY THERE IS ONE THAT SHOWS WHERE BRAKE FLUID ATE THROUGH THE PAINT A LITTLE BIT
I AM NOT SURE ON THE SPECS OF THE MOTOR BUT IS IS A SMALL BLOCK CHEVY THAT SOUNDS AWESOME AND RUNS STRONG. HAS ALL BILLET PULLYS, GRIFFIN RADIATOR, FLOWMASTER EXHAUST, STAINLESS STEEL TRANS AND BRAKE LINES.
UNDERNEATH IS A CUSTOM MADE CROSS MEMBER WITH HOTCHKINS REAR CONTROLL ARMS AND RIDING ON WELD WHEELS WITH SKINNIES UP FRONT AND DRAG RADIALS OUT BACK.
THERE IS A STALL CONVERTER IN IT AND IM SURE THE TRANS IS BUILT AS WELL BUT THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES ON THAT IM JUST GUESSING BASED ON THE CAR ITSELF AND IF I HAD TO MAKE ANOTHER GUESS ID SAY IT SHOULD BE A MID TO HIGH 12 SECOND CAR.
I THINK I COVERED EVERYTHING IN DESCRIPTION BUT IF I THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE I WILL ADD TO THE LISTING. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS THAT AREN'T ANSWERED HERE PLEASE ASK BEFORE YOU BID. IT IS BEING SOLD AS IS WHERE IS WITH A PENNSYLVANIA SALVAGE TITLE. I COULD POSSIBLY HAVE TITLE RECONSTRUCTED FOR WINNING BIDDER
CHECK OUR FEEDBACK AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE
LIKE I SAID FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE OR TO SEE THE CAR IN PERSON

THANKS

Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.

Best 3rd row SUVs of 2022

Wed, Oct 19 2022

If you plan on using a vehicle's third row a lot, let us at least make the suggestion that a minivan would be a smarter bet than anything you're going to see on this list of best three-row SUVs. Their third rows are bigger, more comfortable and easier to get to. The kids will definitely be happier. Here are our two top choices.  OK, now that that's out of the way, we totally get why minivans are totally depressing and that if the kids want to be happier, they can buy their own darn vehicle. You're buying, you're driving, you're being seen in it and you'd rather have a three-row SUV. Fair enough. Luckily, there are more choices than ever and they're really good. The best do a particularly good job of being family friendly without looking like a drab transportation appliance, although really, you can't go wrong with any of the mainstream three-row SUVs. Now, some of the luxury choices are a bit suspect, including those that are otherwise very appealing but have cramped third-row seats (the Genesis GV80 comes to mind). We're focusing on three-row SUVs here, so having a usable third row is a must.   In this list, we have broken things down into four sub-categories: Best Three-Row Crossover |  Best Full-size Three-Row SUV Best Luxury Three-Row SUV |  Best Flagship Luxury Three-Row SUV Note that we define crossovers as SUVs since most buyers use the terms interchangeably, but acknowledge that "crossover" is literally a vehicle with a car-like unibody structure as opposed to the truck-like, body-on-frame construction that traditionally has defined "SUV." In other words, we consider all crossovers SUVs, but not all SUVs are crossovers (specifically those in the full-size segment and some in the flagship luxury segment). Best Three-Row Crossover SUVs of 2024 2024 Honda Pilot Why it stands out: Exceptional storage and cargo space; unique second-row functionality; refined ride; versatile and capable TrailSport; advanced AWDCould be better: Subpar acceleration with lackadaisical transmission and engine response; so-so driver assistance tech Read our full 2024 Honda Pilot Review The Honda Pilot was completely redesigned for 2023. It maintains its predecessor's family friendly packaging and overall focus, but it has injected a welcome sense of style (especially in the TrailSport pictured above) that makes it stand out much better from the big crossover crowd.

Can DARPA hack into a Chevy Impala through OnStar?

Mon, Feb 9 2015

An ex-video game wizard named Dan Kaufman tracked a circuitous route to becoming the head of the Software Innovation Division at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. DARPA normally makes these pages because of its work with autonomous vehicles and automobile technology that overlaps with military applications, but for the past five years Kaufman and his multiple research teams have been working on creating unhackable software code that could be used in military drones. Part of that work has involved hacking into just about everything else, and as a segment on 60 Minutes reveals, that includes cars. The masterminds discovered a way to hack into OnStar, the General Motors telematics system. After figuring out how to hook into OnStar's emergency communication system, they overwhelmed it with data. While the computer was busy trying to manage the overrun of data, the research team inserted code that took control of the sedan's other computers, giving it control. So while reporter Leslie Stahl tooled around in a parking lot, a DARPA researcher with a laptop would occasionally take control of the car, like by applying its brakes or, conversely, removing the ability for Stahl to use the brakes. Hacking into vehicles has been in the news for years: Car and Driver ran a feature on the various ways cars could be hacked in 2011, two hackers released a car-hacking code at the hacker-fest Defcon in 2013 and demonstrated how it worked on a Toyota Prius and Ford Escape, and German researchers demonstrated how they could hack into BMW's Connected Drive remote-services system last week via an attack on the cars' telematics units. This isn't about GM or Onstar or the future; hacking into cars of all kinds isn't coming, it's here, and it doesn't take the half-billion-dollar annual budget of a small DARPA division to do it. Check out the 60 Minutes video on the CBS site (you can watch the entire video from a mobile device without logging in). The OnStar hacking starts at 6:45, but it's worth watching what leads up to that. News Source: Jalopnik Chevrolet Safety Technology Infotainment Autonomous Vehicles Videos Sedan hacking 60 minutes
