Up for sale is a 1970 Malibu that has begun the process of being transformed into a 454SS Clone. The vehicle began life as a white and gold Malibu with cloth bench seats. But has had the black bucket seats added, SS style dash (with Dakota Digital Gauge package) The floor shifter has been installed, but no console. Hinge on glove box is broken, there are some flaws in the dye on the dash pad, the drivers side headrest has some cracking, new carpet has been put in, but overall the interior is about a 7/10.  Budnik X-series M5 wheels 22 inch, tires are 85%. New Starter. fresh alignment. New plugs, wires, ceramic coated headers (not pictured). Body work has been done, but is not perfect, the car looks good from 30 feet, but has some flaws in the paint, and was not repaired the best when painted. Door edge to fender has had some contact. Engine is a 350, but not original to the car, nor is it numbers matching.  Transmission is a Powerglide, and shifts well. Rear is a 10 bolt, non posi. With adjustable upper arms. Disc brakes on the front, and drum on the rear. Engine has an Edelbrock intake and carb combo (1406 manual choke). I purchased this car to drop in either another small block or a big block in to have some fun, but I have to sell due to overseas deployment. Vehicle has a clear title, but will show that the mileage is not correct, because of the installation of the digital dashboard.  No trades wanted. Vehicle is being sold as-is. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Feel free to call Sean at 239-841-3282

Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.

GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes

Mon, 01 Oct 2012

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
While the list of affected cars and crossovers varies by state and model year, if you own any of these models and live in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma or Texas, be sure to check the official notice below for more details.
