1969 Chevelle Malibu 2 door hard top coupe, This low mileage 43000 miles, one owner simple stock Malibu that has been in the family and never touched, until the grandson got a hold of it. A stock body and original unmolested body parts, super stock and very clean undercarriage, trunk and frame. Which look new. It now has a custom and special ordered GM crate engine with aluminum heads. Approximately $7500- $8000 went into the motor. A three speed automatic transmission, Disc brakes and a 12 bolt rear end with corvette rally wheels, chrome and glass are fantastic; it still has the original bench seat, interior carpet and headliner which are in excellent condition, the car runs excellent, it is super strong and extreme power. A brand new dual exhaust system was just installed. (That stock big block look) It has power steering, a simple summary a 1969 Chevelle with a stock appearance but under the hood a power house of horse power, some may call it a granny car or a sleeper. It simply is a straight car with different choices of levels, clone it to a SS or a pro touring car, or just keep it a secret, it has great patina, yes some 45 year old nicks and scratches and minor dings, they are only stock original once, this is a brand new 355 crate motor tagged at 382 hp 400 turbo three speed transmission 12 bolt rear end with 373 gear ratio. Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.

Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold

Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.

GM files to trademark name Badlands

If you've been hoping for General Motors to come out swinging at the Ford F-150 Raptor, we've had some tantalizing news for you of late. Last month we brought you a report that indicated GM has trademarked the name "Z71 Trail Boss," suggesting a potential hardcore off-roader. Now it seems the General has filed for a potentially even better name. That name, as our friends over at GM Authority have discovered, is "Badlands." The application, filed on February 16, indicates that it's for a truck, but of course it doesn't specify just what form it would take... or for that matter, under which division it would fall. So we could, in theory, be looking at the nameplate for a Raptor rival from Chevy or GMC (like the 2011 Sierra All Terrain HD concept pictured here), or for some other trim level, a concept truck, a special edition... just about anything. Heck, it could be for a Vauxhall, Opel or Holden for all we know at this point. Or GM could choose not to use it on anything at all, but here's hoping it'll emerge as something awesome in US showrooms sometime soon.
