This is a REAL DEAL SS Malibu Convertible with a sweet running and original to the car 283 V8 with the original powerglide transmission. This car runs SWEET!! It show 49,000 miles and is believed to be the actual miles on the car. It just had a Fresh Blue Paint Job done back to original color and it is very slick and the body is super straight. No rust issues or bondo here. The interior is also the original color with bucket seats and center console with the correct floor shifter. The top is also in excellent condition and is powered and works like it should. The boot cover is with the car. The underside looks good and solid as well with the floors and trunk in great shape. It comes with the original Owners Manuel, Protecto Plate, Convertible Top Instruction Book. The car was bought new in Elizabethtown, Ky. All the windows roll up and down like they should and the front and rear bumpers are in like new condition. Here is a car that you can drive anywhere with the top up or down and enjoy. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). MotorWeek, in its hugely entertaining retro flashbacks, looks back on these three long-lost GM performance icons, and it's just as good as you might expect.
