If you are a California Resident intending to register this vehicle in the State of California, AND not a Dealer, then we will provide you with either a “certificate of compliance” or “certificate of non-compliance” along with the sale. There will be an additional $50.00 fee added to your total amount if providing you with either of these. Since many of our buyers are from out of state, we will need email notification from you at least one business day prior to pickup to facilitate the test. The California Vehicle Code (CVC) 24007 (b) (2) issued in accordance with section 44015 of the Health and Safety Code, states that buyers can be presented with a certificate of compliance or a certificate of non-compliance (that has been issued within 90 days) before or at the time of sale. 2016 Chevy Colorado grabs Motor Trend Truck of the Year award

It's not an easy feat to win Motor Trend Truck of the Year twice in a row, but the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado managed to do just that. Thanks to the introduction of the 2.8-liter Duramax four-cylinder diesel, the magazine decided to bring the pickup back to defend the title. In more good news for the Bowtie brand, the 2016 Camaro earned the magazine's Car of the Year award. The Colorado beat a tough group of finalists to earn the nod this year, including its GMC Canyon sibling. The Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra also made this year's list. The Nissan Titan XD and latest Toyota Tacoma rounded out the challengers. A model had to shine in six criteria to earn the title: advancement in design, engineering excellence, safety, efficiency, value, and performance of intended function. Like it did with the Camaro, Motor Trend posted a story online that explained the rationale for picking the Colorado again. They praised the diesel profusely and lauded the whole platform as quite a capable hauler. This year's Motor Trend SUV of the Year honor went to the Volvo XC90. The Swedish 'ute had to win against an initial group of 16 candidates that the magazine eventually whittled down to finalists that consisted of the Honda Pilot, Lincoln MKX, the combined Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class and GLE Coupe, and Nissan Murano. "Seven-passenger people movers aren't supposed to drive like this," senior features editor Jonny Lieberman said about the Volvo in the announcement of the champions. The Honda CR-V won last year. In the explanation online, the judges applauded the XC90's new modular platform, and they loved both the T6 twin-charged engine and T8 hybrid version. The SUV's key enamored the writers, too. Chevy Volt gets customer satisfaction 'recall' for rear hatch issue UPDATE

Last week, General Motors has issued a "Customer Satisfaction program" for some 2011-2015 model year Chevrolet Volts to fix the manual rear lift gate not working as appropriate. According to Volt owner posts on Facebook, the problem manifests itself by the hatch not opening up all the way (sometimes worse in the cold) with some people bumping their heads. Dealers will replace the lift gate struts as part of the program. Some drivers were notified through the vehicle's OnStar system that there is a problem. GM has not yet said how many Volts are affected. *UPDATE* This program is for all 2011-2015 model year Volts. Chevrolet spokesperson Michelle Malcho told AutoblogGreen that, "This is not a recall, so there won't be any formal information posted on the GM website." The fixes will be free to affected Volt owners. Some 2010-2015 Cadillac SRX vehicles are also affected by the same problem and will also be fixed. With the unveiling of the GMC Hummer EV, the list of planned electric pickups is expanding. Legacy automakers like Ford and Chevy have theirs coming, as do startups like Tesla, Rivian and Bollinger, as well as some lesser known brands. Here are all the electric pickup trucks we know to be in the works, along with a few that are being discussed or mulled over. GMC Hummer EV The 2022 GMC HUMMER EV is a first-of-its kind supertruck develop View 40 Photos We’ve seen it now, and itÂ’s the business. The GMC Hummer EV comes out swinging with 1,000 horsepower from GMÂ’s new Ultium electric powertrain program, a wealth of off-road features, a removable roof, Super Cruise and the revival of the Hummer name.
