Collectable performance cars do not get any better than this. Yes a true three owner, original 86K miles, black on black, 409, 425 HP, 4 speed, Impala SS 2 door hard top. This car was originally purchased in the central part of Washington State, and now, the third owner, who has had the car in his collection, has decided to sale. A full restoration was finished in 2000, and the car has had only 70 miles put on it. This car has the 7000 R.P.M. tack, witch come with the 425 HP, two 4 barrel engine. It also has 456 rear end gears, so will be a great performing car. Before restoration the car was a very straight original, and this car had no rust at all. The body only had one very small ding, on the right rear quarter panel. All door gaps, and fender fit are nice, as it came from the factory. (look at pictures closely) A frame off restoration was done, and all components refreshed as needed. The motor is also fresh, and runs strong. Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.

Chevy working on production Impala Midnight Edition

To put together the Impala Blackout concept for SEMA, Chevrolet didn't need to go much further than its accessories catalog. The in-house connection is what could make it possible for Chevy to get a production version of the Blackout into dealers this model year, with its few bits of chrome trim and dark detailing on the 19-inch aluminum wheels set into an abyss of gloss black paint, black Bowtie, grille surround, rear spoiler and mirror caps. The interior is black leather, with stainless steel for the sill plates and pedals, and an 11-speaker Bose audio system, and it gets the optional 305-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6. The brand's marketing director for cars and crossovers, Steve Majoros, told Edmunds that it could come in late spring, and that it will be called "Midnight Edition." Majoros didn't give any indication of pricing or if the production car will be spec'd out like the concept. If you simply don't want to wait for late spring, you could work your DIY mojo by putting one together the same way Chevrolet did: give the accessories catalog a workout. Related Video:
