You are bidding on a 2008 Impala in excellent condition.  It runs great and has no known mechanical issues. It is loaded with all of the options available in 2008 including leather, xm radio, power everything, sunroof, remote start, onstar, red jewel clearcoat paint, and rear spoiler. I bought this car brand new and have put all of the miles on it on the highway.  It has never been smoked in and has been serviced regularly.  The passenger seat and back seat look like new and the drivers seat has normal wear.  The mileage will continue to go up as I drive it daily, but as soon as it sells, I will stop driving it.  This car can be picked up in the Iowa City area by you, or you can arrange for shipping from Marengo Iowa to your location.  Payment must be by wire transfer, cash, or cashiers check.  Cashiers checks will be held to insure they clear prior to releasing the title.  $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end via paypal and the rest is due within 7 days.  This is a super clean car, bid early and often!

Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold

Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.

Anti-purist 1963 Ferrari GTE sports hot rod Chevy V8

I remember reading a story around the time Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift came out. It focused on one of the star cars of that film, a 1967 Ford Mustang fastback that started the film as a shell, and in a pinch, was transformed into a modified masterpiece, complete with the RB26DETT engine from a Nissan Skyline GT-R (which started the film under the hood of an S15 Silvia). There was a genuine (and in our minds, absurd) fear in the article that taking a piece of classic American iron and fitting a twin-turbocharged JDM engine would result in some awful trend in the classic car community. If you thought a GT-R-powered classic Mustang was sacrilege, though, this car will probably make you vomit. For the rest of us, it's a neat piece of engineering. Shown above is a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTE, and yes, that's a 302-cubic-inch, small-block Chevrolet V8 under the hood. On top of that, it uses the six-speed manual transmission from a Viper, a nine-inch Ford rear end, and Mitsubishi-sourced paint. So yeah, it's a FrankenFerrari.
