2007 Chevy Impala. Runs, Drives & Looks Excellent. All power options work. Cold Air Conditioning. This was a county owned vehicle purchased new with only 1 mile. It currently has 133k. Its a nice looking & good running car. It was taken out of service for a new replacement vehicle. They sold the car listed as in service until new vehicle replaced it. The only negatives they listed were an intermittent ABS light (front driver side wheel speed sensor) & power steering noise(they said pulley noise). There is a pic of the notation on the pump from the counties original info. The power steering has no leaks, works fine & I don't think the noise is power steering related at all but I haven't had it looked at. It doesn't affect anything in terms of running or driving. The car drives great. Fluids(oil and transmission) are clean as shown in the pics. Besides al of  the pictures I will try to post a video of the outside, inside & of the car running. If you'd like to see it personally before bidding just email me. You are not bidding to come look at it or get shipping quotes after you won. You are bidding to own. Ask your wife, the shipper, all questions and/or inspect before you bid. These auctions cost money & this is a NO RESERVE auction starting a only $1. It is not a new car & not being sold for a new car price. I buy them "as-is" with no warranty & sell them the same way. I will sell this regardless of whether I make or lose $ (I run honest auctions & won't end it early if it hasn't reached a certain price.  I also have no dealer fees. If you're out of state you are responsible for your state sales tax & you must register & title it yourself. If your in Florida I am required to do this for you. I undercharge (less than the tag office) $85 for a title and current tag transfer. If it's expired the sticker renewal is more as is a new tag.  A deposit of $1000 is due at the end of the auction if you are the high bidder. Paypal Only for the deposit. Cash balance is due upon pick up within 5 days. NO ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS

Thu, Jan 17 2019

The 2019 North American International Auto Show might have been a little more quiet than past years, but there were still some pretty major reveals, including the Toyota Supra, new Ford Explorer, Shelby GT500, Subaru WRX STI S209 and Kia Telluride. We also saw some lovely concepts like the Nissan IMs and Lexus LC Convertible. Senior Editor Alex Kierstein, Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Senior Green Editor John Beltz Snyder join me, Associate Editor Reese Counts — with Social Media Manager Michael Dylan Ferrara behind the camera — on a long walk through the show. We discuss cars, poke around the stands, dress a bloody wound and answer your questions in the Facebook comments. For more Detroit coverage, you can check out Autoblog's picks for the best in show, listen to our podcast or look at the best images from all the reveals. Burt Reynolds' vehicles up for auction at Barrett-Jackson

Tue, Sep 25 2018

Burt Reynolds' influence on car culture cannot be overstated. Be it "Smokey and the Bandit" or "Cannonball Run," his films inspired a generation of car enthusiasts. He died a few weeks back from cardiac arrest at age 82. This weekend, four vehicles from Reynolds' personal collection — three Pontiacs and a Chevy — will go up for auction at Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas. It seems Reynolds had plans to sell the cars before he passed. He even filmed a short teaser for the auction and planned to attend the event himself. Three of the cars are Pontiac Trans Ams. Two are re-creations of the cars he drove in "Bandit" and the film "Hooper." Both are 1978 models. The third Trans Am is from 1984 and was used to promote Reynolds' USFL team, the Tampa Bay Bandits. The fourth vehicle is a 1978 Chevy R30 pickup truck. It's styled like the truck he drove in "Cannonball Run." None of the vehicles were actually used in the movies. But they were registered in his name, making them far more legitimate than some other movie-inspired clones. It's unclear how many Bandit Trans Ams Reynolds has owned over the years. Another car connected to him sold for $450,000 back in 2014. His death is sure to drive the price of these new cars even higher. GM invests $24 million to build more crew cab trucks in Fort Wayne

Thu, May 30 2019

The full-size pickup truck arms race continues unabated here in the United States as Ford, General Motors and Fiat Chrysler battle back and forth for sales supremacy. The Ford F-Series of trucks continues to lead the field in sales (214,611 units sold through the first quarter of 2019), but the race for second place has been a lot more interesting to watch. That's because Ram, long a distant third in truck sales, eked its way past Chevrolet late in 2018 and has managed to hold the position so far in 2019. Don't take this to mean that sales of GM's trucks have been poor across the board. In fact, the automaker reports that sales of its four-door crew cab pickups are up 20 percent in 2019 over the same period a year ago. And that's what makes GM's announcement today so interesting. The automaker is investing $24 million into its assembly plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana to build more Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks, and the focus will continue to be on crew cab models. "We are building Chevrolet and GMC crew cab pickups at record volume and mix levels to meet customer demand and the $24 million investment will allow us to build even more," said GM chief Mary Barra in a statement. "Crew cab sales have been very strong, and we are expanding customer choice with new models, more cab choices and innovative new powertrains." It's worth noting that, if crew cab sales are up 20% this year, but overall sales are down (over 15% for Silverado and around 2% for GMC), that means it's the cheaper regular cab and double cab models that are lagging. At the same time, sales of the midsize Chevy Colorado have surged 16%. And finally, if you combine sales of the Silverado and Sierra into one bucket, GM still has a comfortable lead over Ram overall. If there's a takeaway here, it's that trucks of all shapes and sizes have been, currently are and will surely remain hot in America, and automakers will continue to invest money into making sure they are able to satiate consumer demand.
