Buying a new car, so I am selling my car. This is my everyday driver. I just took 2 trips last week 200 miles and 400 miles. I drive over 350 miles a week back and forth to my office, so the mileage will will change. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. I have owned it for almost 5 years. It has typical wear for a car of this age and mileage. The car has tinted windows, I cannot stand headlights behind me at night. I took a bunch of pictures to illustrate exactly what it is. Let the pictures do the talking. Well maintained. Great gas mileage...I get about 30MPG on the highway. There are some scratches on the driver's side rear door where my friend's dog jumped up on the car a couple years ago. There is also a scrape on the wheel well where I scraped the garage and tried to touch it up. Other nicks, scratches, flaws are typical. Interior is very decent. Driver's seat has some wear and the passenger front seat has some dye cracking...but no rips in either. Again, see all pictures for accurate illustration of the condition. Mileage is not correct. I replaced the instrument cluster last year with a used one, when the stepper motors in the speedometer started sticking. The car has approximately 35K more than the odometer shows...I believe in full disclosure and honesty. I want you to know exactly what you are getting. The minor idiosyncrasies are: airbag light on (sometimes it goes off), rear defogger does not work, sometimes the power moon roof switch sticks-still opens and closes without issue as you can see in pictures, one of the front fog lights is burned out...that's all I can think of off hand. Just a good driver, always been reliable and well maintained. You are encouraged to inspect it for yourself and make up your own mind...again the pictures say it all. Bid on it, buy it, and drive it home...wherever that might be.
A $500 non-refundable non-transferable deposit must be received within 48 hours of auction end by cash in person or paypal. Car must be fully paid and picked up within 7 days of auction end unless other arrangement are made with me before the end of the auction. This is an absolute sale. The car is being sold as is with no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied. It is a used car for very little money and is not a perfect new car. If you do not complete the transaction within 7 days, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be re-listed for sale...no exceptions. Bid what you can afford and only if you have the money available.

Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own
Tue, 22 Jan 2013It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.
New Corvette Feature Keeps An Eye On Valets
Wed, Aug 20 2014Face it. If you own a luxury or sports car, whenever you hand the keys to a valet, you imagine the car going on a high-speed joyride like the Ferrari in the 1980s cult movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." Now, General Motors has an option on the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette that takes those worries away. The latest version of the sports car, due out in September, has a feature that records where the car goes with a camera mounted in the windshield trim. It also captures audio in the cabin as well as speed, engine revolutions per minute, gear position and G-force. That all helps the car tattle on any valet who doesn't take a slow, direct route to a parking space. GM says it's the most extensive attempt by an automaker to thwart valet joyriders, although it's not the first. The automotive website Edmunds.com says Hyundai and Mercedes offer "geofencing," a feature that sets a perimeter and then notifies the owner's smart phone if a car goes beyond it. Chrysler has a valet mode that caps engine speed and horsepower, while Audi lets owners limit engine speed for valets. With the Corvette, once the owner activates the feature with a four-digit code, the touch screen tells the driver it's in Valet Mode. But it doesn't warn the valet that he's being recorded. The feature also locks the glove box and a storage compartment in the dashboard and shuts down the infotainment system. Valet Mode started off as a performance data recorder for those who take their Corvettes on the racetrack. GM engineers quickly figured out that it had more uses. "Think of it as a baby monitor for your car," Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles said in a statement. "Anyone who has felt apprehension about handing over their keys will appreciate the peace of mind of knowing exactly what happened while their baby was out of sight." Data and video from the valet mode can be viewed instantly by the owner on the car's 8-inch color screen when the car is parked, or it can be downloaded to a computer. The system could go into more mainstream models if feedback is good on the Corvette, GM spokesman Monte Doran said. The feature is paired with a navigation system and costs $1,795. A 2015 Corvette starts at just under $54,000. Chevrolet Technology Gadgets
2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 [w/videos]
Wed, Jan 7 2015I think I was supposed to be back hours ago. Driving northwest on State Road 190 with a final destination deep in the heart of the Death Valley National Park, it occurs to me that I might have agreed to return after an hour or so, instead of the four I'll end up stealing, solo, in the new Z06. Somewhere in the combination of mountain vistas, arching, speed-hungry desert roads, and the sound of this titanic engine on a constant run up the rev ladder, I forgot everything I'd promised back at home base. The generous, civilized part of me worries for a moment that absconding with the new-best Corvette might have left one of my fellow journalists without a car. But the selfish part of me – the part largely in control of the rocket-launcher of a throttle under my right foot – says "screw it." I spent two days with the 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06, a monster of a sports car that will soon be dominating track days everywhere, and I never once was inclined to share it. Hurtling through the shattered stillness of the desert and pulling big Gs at Spring Mountain circuit, I never felt overly disposed to give up my seat. This Corvette, more than any I've yet driven, was deep enough to hold my attention; for two days, for two years, probably. With this Z06, the Corvette steps over the amazing-for-the-price category, and solidly into the best-cars-in-the-world zone. There are peripheral elements that remind me of its blue collar, Bowtie heritage, sure, but there's more that simply begs me to carry on driving... faster. Most casual car observers will be able to pick the 2015 Z06 out from its less aggressive Stingray brothers. Subtler hints include a new, more open grille, larger extractor on the taller hood and rather discreet badges on the flanks of the car. More outrageous is the finned spoiler on the rear trunk lid, and the widebody look offered from flared fenders – an extra 1.57 inches (40 millimeters) at their beefiest point. Even driving around performance-car-laden Pahrump, NV – loaded thanks to the very active community at the Spring Mountain racing resort – members of the local populace were turning heads, waving and generally noting the Z06 with approval when I drove through town. In Torch Red over black painted aluminum wheels, staggered at 19-inches in front and 20 at the back, the amped-up Z06 hits a new level of road presence for the C7.
