This 1996 IMPALA SS could be your show car. All numbers are matching on this real SS with all it's RPO Codes on the door sticker. It has the LT-1 350 engine (5.7L) with approximately 113,000 miles ( I do drive this car on nice days, so if you want the exact mileage please send me a message). The Title lists mileage of 9,999,999 and state "Odom Discrepancy", however the actual mileage can be verified through Carfax.

The positives:

2 Year old PPG Base, Clear Paint - Cost $4,500.00

24" Rims and Tires with less than 500 miles on them - Cost $2,600.00

Custom Leather Seats and Headliner - Cost $1,800.00

Sound System -  Cost $1,700.00

This Impala SS also has the following: Flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust, Hypertech Chip, K & N cold air intake, HID headlight kit, and tinted windows.

The following parts have been replaced within the last year: KYB shocks, Eibach springs, complete brakes (rotors, calipers, and pads), radiator, water pump, injectors, optispark, starter, power steering pump, mass air flow sensor, battery, cooling fans, pulleys, oil pan.

The following items have been serviced in the last year: AC serviced, transmission serviced, and a full tune-up with plugs, wires, etc.

This SS is a real head turner and runs, drives and shifts great, as it should with all the upkeep put into this vehicle. It is only driven in nice weather, as this vehicle was on it's way to becoming a show car. I do NOT have the original wheels that came with the car from the factory.

The Negatives:

- There is a 1 inch crack in the dash (not really noticeable)
- There is a small hole from a spring on the driver's seat
- There s a dent on the front center part of the hood
- There is a long scratch on the wing as seen in the pictures
- The passenger front window goes off the track sometimes
- The power antenna is broken
- The driver's side mirror is missing the glass

All of these fixes are minor. There has been some serious money put into this vehicle over the last two years, and it wouldn't take much to complete this car to be a real show vehicle. This is the only year that the SS was made with the center console shift. This car is rust free and could be your great investment.

Inspections are welcomed and encouraged before bidding.

These are the five most ridiculous attacks on the Chevy Volt [w/videos]

Thu, Aug 7 2014

It's been a long, strange trip for the Chevy Volt from the time when the now-odd-looking concept version (above) was introduced at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show to today. And now, General Motors announced that the second-generation Chevy Volt will make an appearance at the 2015 Detroit show in January. This debut represents a victory for GM with what has easily become the most politicized car of the 21st Century. There are plenty of reasons for someone to criticize the Volt, but what's amazing is just how much anti-Volt energy has been spent not on things like the styling or how the EREV setup is not as efficient as a pure-EV powertrain. As we wait for more official information on the new Volt, we thought it would be fun to go back and look at some of the most wildly incorrect reporting and strangest attacks on the Volt from the archives. There is so much good stuff out there, it was hard to pare the list down, but these are our five favorites. Amazingly, they're not all clips from Fox News. Check 'em out below. 5. GM Is Going To Stop Making The Chevy Volt In The US Do you remember when GM was about to move Volt production to China? Well, yeah, this was reported back in early 2012 when a GM executive mentioned that the automaker would get benefits of building the Volt in the places where it sells them. This was spun into a story of GM taking Obama bailout money and then running to China. The Blaze was not happy: "Given the fact that Federal government helped itself to millions and millions of taxpayer dollars under the pretense that it was going to combat high unemployment by creating 'green jobs,' it would seem that moving research and development (and possibly manufacturing) overseas is slightly, well, counterproductive." Well, of course, that never happened. There's no way to say that GM will never build a version of the Volt in China, but the news we hear rumors of these days is that GM is going to move production of more Volt parts (specifically, the motors) to Michigan from overseas. 4. The Chevy Volt Is A Fire Trap There has never been a Volt that just spontaneously lit up while driving down the road. Yes, there were Volts that caught on fire. Yes, that's a scary thing. But there has never been a Volt that just spontaneously lit up while driving down the road. These were crashed test vehicles with destroyed batteries and plugged-in vehicles that were not the cause.

Chevy Gives World Series MVP Madison Bumgarner A Recalled Truck

Thu, Oct 30 2014

Last night must have seemed like a dream come true for San Francisco Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner. He helped his team win its third World Series Championship in four years, earned MVP status and was given a brand new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Bumgarner might want to hold off on taking a victory lap in his new truck however. The Colorado is currently under recall. General Motors issued a stop-delivery order earlier this month to fix the truck's air bag connectors, which were wired improperly during the manufacturing process. The faulty wiring can cause the system to deploy incorrectly. Only 138 customers have received their Chevrolet trucks, the rest were caught and repaired either in the plant or on their way to dealerships and show rooms. Recalls Chevrolet world series

Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
