One-of-a-kind custom '67 Impala! It has 78.500 original miles on it. The door handles, mirrors, moldings, and badges are shaved off. The paint is a $7,000 Pearl White that looks incredible in direct sunlight! The interior was redone to be as close to the original as possible. The engine is a 350 Chevy crate (with about 15,000 miles on it) with a rebuilt factory transmission that was done back in early 2001. There are some performance add-ons such as intake manifold, air cleaner, and exhaust system. It sounds real nice and growly! This car was built to be more of a show car than a "go" car. It has 18" MKW wheels fitted with 245/45R18 tires. It used to have an air bag system that would lower the car all the way to the ground, but I was having issues with it so I took that out and put OEM factory suspension up front and rear air shocks in the back. There are no inner fenders up front due to the previous air bag installation. It has new OEM brakes all around (drums on all 4, master cylinder and booster, lines, and pads). The A/C was fixed and works great! There are no power locks or windows. The doors can be opened with a remote door popper. Their is a kill switch to start the car so it will be very difficult for someone to try stealing it. There is very minor surface rust on the lower part of the driver's side rear fender and there is minor rust under the vinyl top. The undercarriage is virtually rust-free! Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.

Fri, Nov 10 2017With our Alex Kierstein rightly impressed in his first-drive review of the new 2018 Ford Expedition, we decided to dig a little deeper into the numbers, and we came up with the spreadsheet below to highlight how the new 2018 Expedition compares on paper to its main full-size SUV competitors: the 2018 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban (and therefore the 2018 GMC Yukon), 2018 Toyota Sequoia and 2018 Nissan Armada. We also threw in the new, even bigger 2018 Chevrolet Traverse since, as you'll see, its massive dimensions should put it on the radar for anyone who needs loads of passenger and cargo space but doesn't care as much about towing. A few notes about the chart above. First, the 6.2-liter V8 that's included with the new-for-2018 Tahoe RST trim level is the standard engine on the GMC Yukon Denali. You can apply most of the Tahoe's numbers to the entire Yukon and Yukon XL lineup. Second, though we highlighted categories where the Traverse led, we also highlighted the runner-up full-size SUV, since this was ultimately about that segment. Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery.
