1967 Chevrolet Impala 2 Door Hardtop on 2040-cars
Marietta, Georgia, United States
I've had this car for about 5 1/2 years and drive it regularly on the weekends. It is fairly original and in what I consider good condition. Not a show car, but a very respectable driver that gets a lot of attention every time I have it out. As far as I know the mileage is original. It has a base 283 motor with a powerglide transmission & power steering. One was the use of a screw on one end of each chrome strip on the quarter panel (see photo). The other was the metal part of the dash was re-painted in a non-original color. The trunk floor is solid but has some rust discoloration from moisture under the mat. No holes. Original jack and what appears to be the original spare. The wires on the right side of the trunk in the photo were run when the carpet was replaced in case I wanted to put speakers in the package shelf. Never did. I replaced; Rear brake shoes, cylinders and hardware Master cylinder Carpet Seat covers Package tray Muffler and tailpipe The one item that it does need is a new float in the gas tank. The gauge in the dash works fine, so I believe the float is bad. There are two items shown that DO NOT go with the car. 1 - the radio - I have a mono am/fm radio with cassette which was in it when I purchased the car. If the buyer wishes, I will install it or just include it with the sale. The front speaker is a replacement two speaker style for an aftermarket radio. No other speakers are in the car. 2 - the mag wheel covers – I have the original standard full covers along with an extra one. See side photo for original hubcaps. Please ask questions. If there is any area you would like me to take a photo of, let me know. No warranty is implied or expressed. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. Thank you for looking at my listing. |

Motor Trend wheels the 2015 Corvette Z06
Tue, Nov 25 2014The new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is capable of some absolutely wild metrics. Want proof? Carlos Lago from Motor Trend is here to break it all down. 60 miles per hour? 3.2 seconds. 60 to 0? 91 feet. Lateral acceleration? A staggering 1.16g, a figure that is the highest MT has ever recorded for a vehicle that isn't a race car. It's an utterly astonishing piece of work, this Z06, and just when you think it can't possibly get any more impressive, Randy Pobst hustles an auto-equipped Z06 around Road Atlanta in just 1:30. Aside from the eight-speed auto, Pobst's Z06 had the most aggressive aerodynamic package, the so-called Stage III. Take a look at the 650-horsepower Z06 in Motor Trend's latest video.
