1965 Impala, 2dr hardtop, 327 powerglide tranny, 12 bolt rearend, numbers matching I was told. new gas tank. sending unit,fuel tank straps, carb, master cylinder, starts and stops but the radiator is a little week, would have to be transported. Horn, lights, wipers, gauges all work. Rust free floors, trunk, inner and outer rockers, window channels ,trunk drop offs, inner wheelwells and cowl. excellent glass, all stainless trim, door handles, and grill are in excellent condition. The front bumper is real nice, the rear bumper has surface rust under the license plate bracket. headliner, seat belts, dash, front and rear door panels, rear seat nice, needs front seat cover and carpet. There is rust on the rear quarters down low behind the wheels, on the outer wheel well lips, on the left front fender, but a rot free left fender comes with the car along with rear quarter patch panels. The engine compartment is dirty and needs to be detailed, but it is rust free. The Frame has a rust hole the size of a quarter underside by the tranny mount, the rest of the frame is nice. I also have a rust free frame that I will sell separately. This 65 was a South Carolina car that I brought up last year. I have a clear Title for the car. I'm starting my reserve out at $4500, I may drop it during the auction.

Is Buick's surprise Detroit concept a Camaro-sized coupe?

Tomorrow night marks the unofficial start of the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. Keep your eyes peeled for a number of reveals, including a surprise debut from Buick. Yes, Buick. And we think it's going to be something really hot. According to a report from Bloomberg, the Tri-Shield's secret car could be a Camaro-sized sport coupe concept. As Bloomberg explains, it'd certainly gel with the impression the company is trying to put out – that it's no longer a brand for those with one foot in the grave. Introducing a sports coupe, even as a concept, could certainly reinforce that message. And if it happens to make production Â– which is not a certainty, Bloomberg's secret source says Â– it could certainly help Buick drive its average buyer age down from 59. Bloomberg doesn't offer any speculation on Buick's new coupe, but we have no problem making educated guesses. Our most reliable conjecture is this: it will ride on General Motors' Alpha platform, which underpins both the Camaro and the Cadillac ATS. And with a certain twin-turbocharged V6 in the GM stable, we've got an idea of what kind of engine could be shown. That speculation will have to suffice for now. But don't worry, we'll have official details, live images, and video tomorrow when Buick unveils its new concept in Detroit's Eastern Market.

GM Recalling 370,000 Trucks For Fire Risk

DETROIT (AP) - General Motors is recalling 370,000 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups from the 2014 model year to fix software that could cause the exhaust components to overheat and start a fire. The recall includes 303,000 trucks in the U.S. and 67,000 in Canada and Mexico. All of the trucks involved have 4.3-liter or 5.3-liter engines. GM said eight fires have been reported, but no injuries. One garage was damaged, the company said. All of the incidents occurred in cold weather. The company is asking customers not to leave their trucks idling unattended. GM dealers will reprogram the software for free. The company will inform owners starting Jan. 16. The major recall announcement, which came on Saturday, marred the Silverado's winning of the 2014 North American Truck of the Year Award at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday.
