Up for auction is a very nice 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS which was purchased from the original owner this summer. Car has the 327 motor with a Turbo 350 modified to the engine. Runs smooth, no leaks and shifts nice. All work on the car was performed at a ICAR certified shop and lots of work has completed.  New starter and alternator and battery has been installed along with new car and rotor and plugs and wires. Brakes have been gone through and the car stops straight and doesnt pull to any one side. Stops straight like it should.

The paint job on the car is what was on the car when i got it. Its been painted with in the last year I'd say. Not a bad job but not show condition. Its a 10 footer. Inside has been refreshed with a new carpet kit. Original seat skins and door panels and headliner. It turns heads where ever i drive it.
The wipers, heater, lights and speedometer all work. Tail lights work, head lights work, turn signals work. The car does have AC but the compressor is not present.
Stock rims with decent tires which are about 90% tread left with stock SS hub caps which are in good shape.  The trunk is finished in that splatter paint and has a red line spare that looks new with a FULL set of jack tools intact in trunk.
I would like this car to go to someone who will enjoy it and drive it more than i do.
The car is in "AS IS" condition with no expressed warrenties. The car is 48 years old and it still shows very nicely for its age. The car must have been garaged most of its life since the chrome on the bumpers are so nice still. You can really tell that someone has loved this car most of its life.
If you have ANY concerns or questions PLEASE feel free to contact me so everyone who is interested in this car can know what I know about the car before you bid. I aim to please and will assist buyer with my shipper Royal Auto Transport. Great company and very competitive in finding you the very best rate for your dollar.
I will need a 1,000 dollar deposit 24 hours after auctions end and the car does not go anywhere until the car is paid in FULL.
Please if you need more photos of a certain angle, let me know and i can get it to you promptly.
Thank you

Just the right Camaro can change your life

Thu, Jan 22 2015

Not many people can say that their car directly motivated them into a career, but that's exactly the case for Adam Martin and his 1968 Chevrolet Camaro that he calls Lucy. Martin bought the pony car in primer when he was just 16, and it helped foster his profession in restoring classic cars. Beyond just being a very cool ride for a teenager, every change to Lucy was an opportunity to hone a new automotive skill for Martin. Whether figuring out how to paint a car or building the 454-cubic-inch (7.4-liter) big block V8, the Camaro offered a platform for experimentation. This latest episode of Petrolicious gets personal about the bond between man and machine for this 18-year ongoing project. And even if the story doesn't immediately grab you, Lucy has a great voice and can do a mean burnout. 2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut

Sat, 16 Feb 2013

Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.

Chevrolet considering midsize crossover to slot between Traverse and Equinox

Mon, Jan 9 2017

Crossovers are the new hotness, and automakers are looking to cash in by offering a size and shape for every customer. With Chevrolet's debut of the new 2018 Traverse in Detroit, which grew ever so slightly compared to the first-generation model, there is now a midsize-crossover-sized hole between the three-row Traverse and the compact Equinox. When asked about that obvious space, a Chevrolet spokesperson told us the company is looking into the possibility of expanding its crossover lineup. It should be a relatively simple thing to do, since all it would take is reskinning and rechristening the GMC Acadia with a bow tie, and we all know how much GM loves platform sharing. Although they're now different sizes, the new Acadia and Traverse still use the same platform; the Acadia is now on a short-wheelbase version of the C1XX while the Traverse uses long-wheelbase C1XX parts. A short-wheelbase Chevy built on the C1XX likely would be differentiated visually from both the Acadia and the larger Traverse. It may seem like flooding the lineup with more and more models would cannibalize sales of existing ones, but Chevrolet said it would rather have customers stay within the brand rather than going to another automaker. There have been whispers that some form of the Blazer name (possibly TrailBlazer) may make a return on a midsizer, but if it does don't expect an old-school body-on-frame SUV like the old one. In the end, if Chevy builds it, customers will come. Related Video:
