EBAY IS GETTING LIKE CRAIGSLIST PEOPLE BID NEVER HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN. THIS IS A GOOD LOOKING CAR I HAD IT FOR A FEW YEARS DROVE ABOUT 50 MILES EVERYTHING WORKS,BUT A/C.THE CAR WAS OFF THE ROAD ABOUT 20 YEARS BEFORE I GOT.THERE WAS VERY LITTLE RUST JUST SURFACE RUST,THE BOTTOM IS DRIVERS DOOR HAD RUST.THE SHEET METAL ALL CAME ON THE CAR EXCEPT HAS NEW HOOD..THE PAINT IS A GOOD DRIVER HAS AFEW ROUGH SPOTS.THE INTERIOR IS ALL GOOD HAS NEW FRONT SEAT COVER MATCHES FACTOR REAR SEAT,NEW CARPET.THE FLOOR HAS NEVER BEEN REPAIRED GOOD SHAPE STILL HAS FACTORY PAINT ON UNDERSIDE OF FLOOR.THE MOTOR WAS CHANGED ABOUT 30 YEARS AGO IT'S A 69-350.ALL THE A/C PARTS ARE INSDE AND ON THE FIREWALL.WHEN THE MOTOR WAS CHANGED THEY REMOVED THE A/C PARTS.THE MOLDINGS ,BUMPER ,AND FENDER SKRITS ARE GOOD SHAPE NOT NEW,HAS 1 ANTENNA ON REAR ,RADIO IS NEWER AM-FM WITH CASSETTE PLAYER FIT WITHOUT CUTING ANYTHING.THE TIRES ARE GOOD HAS DUAL EXHAUST SOUNDS GOOD.350 POWERGLIDE HAS POWER STEERING AND BRAKES ,STEERS LIKE A OLD CAR.THE MOTOR NEEDS A PAINT JOB GOOD JOB FOR THE WINTER THIS CAR STARTED IT'S LIFE IN CA. WHERE IT STAYED FOR 20 YEARS,DRIVER IN NY ABOUT 5 YEARS THEN TAKEN OFF THE ROAD. |

Suzuki recalls 2 million cars globally
Wed, Apr 22 2015Suzuki is recalling two million vehicles across the globe, including a number of Chevrolet Cruze sedans that it builds for General Motors, because the ignition switches may begin to smoke. None of the Cruzes being recalled were sold in the US, though. This recall is limited to the Japanese, European and Australian markets. In Suzuki's home market, 1,873,000 vehicles are being recalled, including the Cruze and a number kei cars built for Mazda (the Carol and AZ-Wagon), as well as the automaker's own Alto, Wagon R and Swift. Affected vehicles were built between 1998 and 2009. The remaining 133,000 vehicles include Cruzes and other Suzuki products sold in Europe and Australia. There have been no reports of injuries or accidents due to the 67 reported incidents, all of which come from the Japanese market, a Suzuki spokesperson told Automotive News. Related Video:
Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
