1963 Impala SS Convertible 409 4 Speed Tuxedo Black Red Interior White Convertible Top

Up for sale out of a private collection is a nice 1963 Impala SS Convertible. Car was completely restored in the early 90's and is finished in Tuxedo Black with Red Interior and a White convertible top. Powered by a 409/400hp with Tri-Power and has power steering and power brakes. Has a very rare factory tach power convertible top am radio with an added  AM/FM CD player mounted under dash that works great. Car is straight and clean NO RUST ISSUES and car was painted in the early 90's and still stands pretty tall. Paint is a 7.5 on a scale of 1-10 considering its age and body lines and seams are factory and nice. Floors are very nice no patched or rust and the frame is clean and smooth very nice. The Red interior is very nice and appealing which also compliments the Tuxedo Black exterior. Car runs and drives like a dream no issues transmission shifts smooth and this is a great car for cruise-in's and shows. Trim and chrome is also nice glass is original and in excellent condition for it's age. Car is available for inspection by appointment and any serious buyer are encouraged to come see and drive what your bidding on. Car is being sold as is no warranty and buyer is responsible for shipping etc. A $500 deposit is due 48hrs after auctions end with balance due within 5 days. If you cannot agree to these terms please do not bid. I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime car is also for sale locally. Feel free to call 443-398-7271 with any questions you may have. I can't find the trunk key but the trunk is very clean no rust issues factory splatter paint etc very nicely detailed. I am having a key made this week and if you need pics just text or email me with your email address. This is a nice car but it's not a fresh frame-off rotisserie car and has a few very minor imperfections due to age of restoration. Again this is a great looking ride everything works including dummy lights even the warm up light. Engine is professionally tuned and was rebuilt at time of restoration with less than 5000 miles runs flawlessly. Car is a great driver and has a very reasonable reserve. Thanks and Good Luck !

2018 Ford Expedition vs other big SUVs: How it compares on paper

Fri, Nov 10 2017

With our Alex Kierstein rightly impressed in his first-drive review of the new 2018 Ford Expedition, we decided to dig a little deeper into the numbers, and we came up with the spreadsheet below to highlight how the new 2018 Expedition compares on paper to its main full-size SUV competitors: the 2018 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban (and therefore the 2018 GMC Yukon), 2018 Toyota Sequoia and 2018 Nissan Armada. We also threw in the new, even bigger 2018 Chevrolet Traverse since, as you'll see, its massive dimensions should put it on the radar for anyone who needs loads of passenger and cargo space but doesn't care as much about towing. A few notes about the chart above. First, the 6.2-liter V8 that's included with the new-for-2018 Tahoe RST trim level is the standard engine on the GMC Yukon Denali. You can apply most of the Tahoe's numbers to the entire Yukon and Yukon XL lineup. Second, though we highlighted categories where the Traverse led, we also highlighted the runner-up full-size SUV, since this was ultimately about that segment. Traverse numbers are broadly applicable to the new Buick Enclave. Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
