Up for sale is this 1963 Chevy Impala 4 door hardtop with a running 283 V8 2 bbl and a good 2 speed Powerglide automatic,power steering,the glass is complete,the hood,trunk lid and right fender were replaced and the side and trunk moldings are not on but are there too except the clips for the side moldings,has SS hup caps and original rims,the owners manual and GM plant assembly are there too,to many items added to list,the interior floors and trunk floor are solid but a light rust in trunk because of rusted trunk lid (replaced and new trunk seal) the upper trunk floor has 2 small holes(typical on these models)the gas tank has a new sending unit,the engine has a rebuilt carburetor and new gas pump and filter,needs the valve guides burns oil but has power,good compression,interior needs headliner,radio and blower works,body needs work and paint,they are some primer areas,it has salvage paperwork because the car was purchased at a wrecking yard some years ago,it does not have the VIN number in the left post nor keys,needs a muffler,the car runs but needs to be towed. a deposit of 500 dollars after 24 hours of sale is required,any questions please be free to ask,thanks for watching and happy bidding.

GM will recall more than 3.3 million vehicles in China for suspension defect

BEIJING (Reuters) - General Motors' joint venture in China, Shanghai GM, will recall more than 3.3 million Buick, Chevrolet and Cadillac vehicles stating Oct. 20 because of a defect with the suspension system, China's market regulator said on Saturday. GM Shanghai said in a text message to Reuters that the suspension arm may be deformed under extreme operating conditions, but there are no known casualties related to the issue. The recall includes cars produced between 2013 and 2018, the State Administration for Market Regulation said in a statement. GM will contact those affected and repair the vehicles free of charge, it said. 2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel destined for Chicago debut

It's been a little over a year and a half since General Motors first confirmed plans to offer a diesel-powered Chevrolet Cruze here in the United States, and we've now learned that the oil-burning compact will debut under the lights of the Chicago Auto Show in February. According to GM Authority, the Cruze Eco-D will be introduced as part of the entire 2014 model year Cruze range, set to go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
Earlier reports have indicated that the diesel Cruze will be able to achieve fuel economy numbers in the range of 50 miles per gallon. For comparison, the similarly sized Volkswagen Jetta TDI is rated at 30/42 mpg city/highway, but as we found out in our long-term test of the 2011 model, hitting 50 mpg was a piece of cake.
Official specifications will be released at the time of the 2014 Cruze's unveiling, though reports have stated that the sedan will be powered by a reworked version of the 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-four found in the Holden Cruze CDX overseas. In that application, the four-pot oil-burner produces 160 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque - increases of 20 hp and 29 lb-ft over the 2.0-liter engine used in VW's Jetta TDI.
