Cherry Bomb dual exhaust tips

The transmission has been great with no problems , the engine has an Edlebrock carb, there are front and backseat lap belts

Overall, the vehicle is in very good condition with very good lines. To be as descriptive as possible, there are small chips in the paint at the bottom/side of the doors, a superficial scratch on the driver side, some paint cracking behind driver window, a dent on the passenger side back bumper, minor wear and tear on the driver’s seat piping, one small chip, less than the size of a dime-missing on the hood, slight pitting on the driver side mirror and a few minor rust spots, all of which are captured in the pictures. It will need an antenna. As in the original, there has never been a radio installed, but of course that can be added. Steering wheel cap is cracked, Driver’s door needs adjusting.

The brakes were replaced in July 2013 (disc brakes conversion)

Just put in a new battery,

a new starter,

a new gas tank

a new power steering pump

and 4 brand new BFG Comp 2 tires!

Just repaired Turn Signals and Gas Gauge

New power steering fluid, new valve stems,  new water outlet new, new brass adapters, new fuel hose , new antifreeze and battery terminals

We recently purchased this car in January 2014 from the previous owner who put a lot of care and money into restoring this classic. He owned the car for the last 10 years and we have all his service records and ours from the last ten years.

We invested in the above enhancements and love this car, but need to sacrifice for our 18 year old's College fund.

Thanks for your time and interest. Feel free to ask any questions.

The Corvette Museum sinkhole has been filled

Wed, Feb 11 2015

After swallowing eight of the most prized pieces of the collection from the National Corvette Museum, the massive sinkhole from a year ago is rapidly becoming nothing but a bad memory. Based on the museum's weekly construction update, you can barely see the remnants of the 25-foot deep hole once in the floor. The Corvette Museum's Skydome was not always going to look like this. The original hope was to keep the sinkhole there as a tourist attraction. That plan eventually fell through, though, and instead it was decided five of the less-damaged Corvettes would remain unrestored. Progress has been moving fast to get the repairs done. Even a month ago, the hole was still very visible, and the construction company used remote-controlled Bobcat loaders to fill it in. Now, the museum has launched a contest to guess how many tons of stone it took to fill in the massive crater. The winner gets a print of the 2009 Corvette ZR1 Blue Devil being lifted out. Chevy teases next-gen Volt at fan event in LA

Thu, Nov 20 2014

Barely two months before its planned debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, Chevrolet has released yet another batch of teaser images of its second-generation Volt. Unlike the first image, though, which just showed the car's rear badge, there's a lot more to this quartet of shots. The first three images show off the nose of the next-gen model and come from a fan event in Los Angeles. What we can see is a sleeker front end, with an evolution of the silver grille inserts previously seen on the original Volt and Spark EV. Gone is the current car's split upper grille, in favor of a more conventional arrangement. The sharper, more angular headlights are also an evolution of the lamps seen on the current Volt. Chevrolet also took the opportunity to announce a new location-based charging system that uses GPS to adjust the vehicle's charge settings, including the charge level, while also announcing that the next-gen car will feature more intuitive charge indicators that will be better able to inform owners of their car's charging level. The tech will mean that the Volt 'knows' when it is parked at home, and can thus automatically optimize charging for off-peak times, and so on. Take a look at the teaser images at the top of the page, and then head below for Chevy's press release announcing the new features. Next-Gen Chevy Volt Offers More User-Friendly Charging 2014-11-20 GPS makes charging more convenient Portable charger is easier to access Intuitive visual cues show charge status DETROIT – If there's one thing Chevrolet Volt owners love about their cars, it's being able to recharge the battery easily. Evidence of that is a U.S. Department of Energy study that shows more than 80 percent of all trips by Volt owners did not use the range extender. Chevrolet has made the charging system in the next-generation Volt even easier for customers to recharge the battery – and to check the charge status. The next-generation Volt debuts in January at the North American International Auto Show. "Chevrolet used the real-world experiences of today's Volt owners to make the charging process simpler and more convenient in the next-generation Volt," said Andrew Farah, chief engineer for the Volt.

First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.
