Description:

2008 HHR SS - 2 owner, one family hot rod that has been garaged and babied its whole life. Always used Mobil 1 synthetic oil, and maintained meticulously. It's got the factory Pioneer Premium Sound System (XM, Aux Input, 6 disc changer, sub in back), power windows and locks, non-leaking/squeaking sunroof, its in fantastic condition, and has 70,300 miles on it with a considerable amount of those highway. I consistently got about 27-29 mpg, but it can get between 24 and 31 depending on how much fun you're having. :)

This HHR also comes with a BSR Tuner that pushes it from the stock 275 hp to over 300, and can put it right back to stock whenever you want to. Just plug it in, wait 46 seconds, then unplug to tune or go back to stock. This is a must-drive change in the SS, it turns into an animal, and it is a very conservative and safe tune meant for daily driving. I also have a set of steel winter wheels with snow tires for the winter (I've got stock LS HHR wheel covers for them) available if you are interested - due to this my SS wheels are spotless and shiny. Tires on SS wheels are performance all season with about 60% tread left, and winter tires have about 40% tread left. If you're looking at this ad, you know what the HHR SS is capable of. If not, you really should drive one. I already know this will be one of those cars I'll always miss, but my 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille project is taking priority right now. Chevrolet SS previewed by Holden VF Commodore SS V show car

It won't be long before we see the official, production-ready Chevrolet SS sedan (hint: it will be revealed this weekend). And to tide us over until all of the official details are released about the US-spec version, we have this: the Holden VF Commodore SS V show car, a performance-oriented brother to the Calais V that debuted earlier in the week.
What we really want to know about the SS V is what lies underhood, but General Motors' Australian arm is keeping that under wraps until the Chevy model breaks cover this weekend. Nevertheless, it's obvious that the SS V will be a serious performer, with all sorts of aggressive cues driving that home on the car's exterior. Take a look at those 20-inch billet aluminum wheels that hide big Brembo brake calipers up front, the sculpted hood and front fascia, the wide air intakes with LED running lights and the quad exhaust pipes out back. It's like the Pontiac G8 GXP never even left us.
Inside, there's a sporty-looking interior with aluminum accents that mix in with black leather and suede surfaces, all tied together in the middle with an eight-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system. It looks great, and again, while we don't know anything regarding powertrain details, it makes us oh-so happy to see a manual shifter smack dab in the middle of the center console.
